Maddison's P.O.V
Now I know what I had to do, I have to break up with hayes.
*next day*
It was finally Saturday. I checked my phone. I had 10 missed calls! 4 from hayes, 2 from Maddie, 3 from Olivia, and 1 from nash. I decided not to call anyone back. I got up and walked down stairs to get some breakfast, and to my surprise guess who was sitting on my couch. Hayes grier.
"What are you doing here". I ask
"I've been waiting for you to get up". He says
"Okay, but that didn't answer my question". I remark
"I came because I think we need to talk about "us". He says with a blank face
"Well common up". I groan
"Nah ah ah, no funny business". My mom says
"Don't worry mom". I roll my eyes
We walk up the stairs and into my room and sit on my bed.
"So". I say
"Maddison listen, that was a long time ago. I was just a foolish child". He says
"Your still just a foolish child". I say
"Well that hurt". He says putting his hand over his heart
"Good". I say not showing any sympathy
"Listen babe I kn-".
"Who said you could call me babe". I question
He just groans.
"Listen Maddison I know your mad but we can work this out". He says grabbing my hand
I pull my hand away.
"Maybe I don't want to work it out". I say
"So, are we breaking up". He ask
"Guess so". I say shrugging my shoulders
"Ah, it's okay. I have a backup. I've been cheating on you with Olivia". Hayes says smirking
"W-what". I say
"You heard me". Is all he says
"Get out". I scream
He runs out of my room and I slam the door. Im not mad because of hayes, I'm mad because my bestfriend did this to me.
I slide down my door crying.
I pick up my phone to call Olivia.
"Hello"? She says
"You little bitch! I can't believe you would do such a thing! I knew you had a crush on him but I didn't know you would go that far"! I screamed into the phone
"What are you talking about"? She ask
"You know damn well what I'm talking about! Your supposed to be my bestfriend"! I cry
"I was never your friend. I didn't like you the first time I laid eyes on you"! She screams back
"What about Maddie? Is she my fake friend to"? I scream again
"No, she actually likes you. I don't know why because all you are is a pathetic little whore". Olivia says
"You know what, go to hell"! I screamed slamming the phone down
I call Maddie.
"Hi Maddison". She says
"Why are you crying". She adds
"Can I just please come over". I cry into the phone
"Sure, common". She says
I hang up and grab my bag.
*Maddie's house*
Knock knock knock.
I knock on Maddie's door about 4 times before she finally let's me in.
"Come in". She says pulling me inside
"Can I have a glass of water". I ask, all this crying has made my throat dry
"Sure". She says getting a glass down and pouring some water in it
"Come on up to my room and we can talk". She says handing me the water
I follow her upstairs into her room and sit on her bed.
"So, what's going on". She ask
I take a sip of my water and sit the glass down.
"Hayes came over today, and we decided to break up. Then he told me he was cheating on me with.... Olivia". I say trying to hold back my tears
"That little bitch"! Maddie says
I laugh a little and take another drink of my water.
"But Maddie there's something I need to tell you". I say
"Anything". She says back
"I think I like, Nash". I say
She almost chokes on her own spit.
"Nash"? She questions
"Yeah, is that a problem"? I ask worried
"It's just, I've kinda had a crush on Nash for a while now". She says
"Oh my god Maddie. You can have him I would never still a boy from you". I say
"No no, it's fine". She says smiling
"Are you sure". I say smiling
"Positive". She says back
"I'm going over there right now to tell him how I feel about him". I say standing up
She smiles and I wave goodbye.
I call Nash as I'm walking down the street.
Ring, ring, ring.
"Hello"? Nash says
"I'm coming over, okay? Okay". I say an hang up
I arrive at Nash's house and I knock on the door.
"Well come in ma lady". Nash says gesturing me in
I laugh and walk in.
"Nash there's something I really need to tell you". I say
"Go ahead". He nods
"I really really really....like you". I say
