Maddison's POV
After unpacking all my stuff I decide that I should text hayes.
To hayes: Hey:)
He replies almost instantly
From hayes: Hey!!
To hayes: what are you doing?
From hayes: ah, nothing really. You wanna hang out?
To hayes: sure i'd i love that.
From hayes: cool! Meet me at the park on the corner in 5 mins.
To hayes:ok:) see ya.
From hayes: see ya;).
I smile and walk over to my dresser to change clothes. I end up picking out a teal shirt, some white shorts, and a pair of silver sandals.
I walk to the bathroom to redo my hair. I put my long black hair up into a messy bun, and touch up my makeup a bit. After I'm finally done I walk downstairs to tell my mom I'm leaving.
"Mom, I'm meeting a friend at the park around the corner."
"You already made a friend?" My mom questions.
"Yeah." I say
"Boy or girl? how old are they? Where do they live?" My mom starts asking me all these questions.
"Boy, 14, and across the street." I say in one breath.
"Emilee has to go with you." She says sternly
"Mooooom." I groan
"Sorry, Maddison but your to young to be going places with boys alone." My mom says
"Whatever." I say aggravated
"Emilee come take Maddison to the park!" My mom yells up the stairs
"Aren't you a little old to be going to the park." Emilee laughs
"I'm meeting a friend there asshole." I say
She laughs and grabs the keys to the car off the table.
"We can walk it's just around the corner." I say
"I'm to lazy to walk." Emilee laughs.
I just laugh and get in the car with her.
"So are you meeting hayes or someone else?" She questions
"Hayes." I say
"Oh, do you like you know..have a crush on him?" Emilee ask
"Uhm, of course Emilee duhhhhh." I say
"I was just asking." She laughs
I laugh with her as we pull into the park.
"Maddison, I know what it's like to want to have alone time with the boy you like soooo, I'm gonna go get some ice cream. I trust you with hayes, don't let me down." My sister says smiling
"Thank you soooo much." I say hugging her
"Anytime little sis, now get going before he thinks you stood him up." She laughs
I laugh with her and jump out of the car.
"Today's gonna be a good day." I say to myself
Authors note: I'm sooooo sorry that I haven't updated in a while! I've had to deal with some crap at school. You know how people are. But anyways I hope you like this chapter! It was a cliffhanger huh.
