So I turned around and left to get them their bottle, when I got back I started pouring their drinks, then Damon asked me, "So Zoe, how old are you?"
"I'm sorry sir I can't answer that, it's private information." I said politely as I continued pouring their drinks.
"Ohhh come on it's just between us, I have to win this bet." He said as he pouted, which made me give him a questioning look.
"We made a bet, who guesses your age right won't pay for their meal."
"Well, that's childish." I murmured which apparently the whole table heard and turned to face me including the dark blue-eyed stranger.
"Did she just call us childish, Justin?" Damon said.
"I'm afraid so, Damon." Justin said.
"Leave her alone." The blue-eyed stranger told them, "Come on Nathan we aren't doing anything wrong, stop being a pussy." Damon said, so his name is Nathan.
Nathan raised his eyebrow which made Damon raise his hands in defeat.
"I'm 20." I finally said, which made them all regain their attention at me. I saw a small grin creeping up at Nathan's face which made me smile.
"Ohhh come on, Nathan won. Again!!!" Damon said which made me giggle as he pouted AGAIN. Damon is cute, he has light blue eyes and short blond hair.
"I'm going to pay don't worry." Nathan said as he looked at me, "I am the boss after all."
Boss? What does he mean by boss? Who cares!!! I started blushing as I noticed him staring, then I added, "I'm going to go check on your food, do you need anything before I leave?"
"No, thank you." Justin said.
So I nodded then left their table for the kitchen, as I came back holding their food I saw their table empty. They must have left in a hurry, as I approached their table I saw a $100 and a napkin that had something written on it.
The napkin read:
" We had to leave earlier than expected, thank you for your lovely service although we didn't get to eat. I have left a small tip for you, I hope I get to see you again.
-Nathan"
As I read his name I felt like my heart was about to stop, and I found myself smiling sheepishly at it. Did he actually think that a 100 dollar is a small tip, he must be filthy rich?
I took the napkin and money and hid them in my purse, this will help me pay for my parent's medical bills.
My shift ended after 10 min, so I took my belongings and went out of the restaurant to its parking lot.
But when I reached my car, I felt an eerie surrounding.
I looked around, the parking lot was very silent and there were a few cars left.
I held my car keys in my hand as a weapon. Then I turned around, I have never thought that I'd ever see this scene in my life.
A body covered with blood was lying on the floor.
I screamed like a complete idiot and it was the dumbest thing I've ever done.
As I stopped screaming I sensed someone behind me and I was about to crap my pants thinking that it might be the killer.
