GD's POV
Turning on my side I open my eyes slowly to be greeted by the cream white surroundings of a hotel room. That's right this was the day we were leaving Australia and flying back to Seoul. Sitting up I looked at the skyline view that greeted me from the big window that the foot of the bed faced. Running my fingers through my hair I recap the experiences I had here in Australia. I couldn't help but smile. The time here was short but I still enjoyed myself. Watching hyung run away from crabs on the beach had to be my favorite. Leaning back against my arms I recall the church service I went to with Hyung. The things Pastor Mark explained still rang in my head.
"Can't believe I actually did something like that, but it's worth a shot right?"
Sighing as I climb out of bed I pack up my things and pick out my clothes and heads to the shower. Stepping out the shower feeling refreshed with a towel wrapped around my waist, a small towel around my neck and another in use to dry my hair I sit by the mirror and dry my hair. Mostiourising my face I get dressed and grabs my phone. Hearing a knock on the door.
Hyung walks into my room and smiles.
"You almost ready?"
Nodding my head as I grab my passport, ID and my suitcase.
"Yeah, I'm all set. So what time will we be arriving in Seoul?"
"Mhm, probably early hours of the morning, so it's a lengthy flight back."
"Mhm, I don't mind. I'm actually not tired which is a odd feeling but.. I actually kind of like it."
Hyung smiles and nods patting my back as we head to elevator going downstairs to the lobby. I wait for Hyung as he returns the keys and pays for the stay. Even though I opted to pay for myself Hyung dismissed it and said he had it covered.
Walking out the hotel doors I'm supprised but slightly delighted to see no other than China waiting for us.
"Are you taking us to the airport?"
I ask walking down the stairs.
"Naturally, I thought it would only be fitting and it's at least a proper way to say goodbye and thank you."
"You don't need to be thanking me, of anything I should be thanking you. You really took everything I said and kept it as is. I really appreciate that more than you will know."
"Like I said, the interview was about you, and finding out more about who you are and I think I found what I was looking for. Not what I expected I'll admit... information and sources can be misleading. But I'm honored to have done an interview with you."
Looking at her she seemed so genuine and sincere. She meant everything she was saying which was a first for me. But to be honest I was happy as well. I felt like I had found someone who I could trust which sounds odd considering our relation with each other was short. But, one thing was certain, I was eternally grateful for having met her.
Hyung smiled before climbing into the car after watching our conversational exchange and I joined him in the back seat as China to the drivers seat and drove us towards the airport. Leaning back as I watched the scenery of Australia zip by for the last time I smiled to myself feeling oddly at peace which was a first. And I couldn't help but agree with a song that seemed to blast from the radio. The words rang in my ears like non stop melody as her rich voice sang the words:
"At least I'm happy
Yes I am"
Within a blink of an eye we were pulling up at the airport. The buzz and clicks of the cameras didn't seem to faze me, I bowed acknowledging some and followed Hyung inside as we did the same routine check in and waited patiently for the time to boarder the flight.
