CHINA POV
Turning to the side as I’m sort of already awake as I stare at the time I’m up an hour before my set alarm is set to go off. Sighing I grab my phone and scroll through my emails still wrapped in the covers as it hits me.
Today is the day, finally the day had arrived my very first sit down interview with Jiyong also known as G-Dragon.
Sighing I sit myself up reaching over to my nigh stand as I grab my daily devotional and starts to read it and today it is talking about agreeing with the Word of God. A portion of it read as follows:
If God has said something, and you say something that’s in consonance with what He has said, that’s confession.
For example, the Word says the Lord is with you always until the end of the age. Therefore, never say, “O God, be with me”; to speak like that is to be in conflict with God’s Word. You ought to say, “Lord, I thank you for your with me always.”
So, even though today is more nerve wrecking than most interviews there was one thing that I knew. I wouldn’t of been given this opportunity, or gotten in contact with Mr Kim and Jiyong if God did not think I was ready or able to handle it. So, I know that I can do this and that nothing will go wrong because all things work together for my good.
Wishing I had dotted down the revelation and motivation it gave me I wrote down that key lesson and climbed out of bed. Making my bed I grabbed my gown, slipped my morning slippers on my feet and went downstairs to pour myself a glass of water. Grabbing some fresh fruits specifically mangoes I cut two into pieces throws them into the blender and puts some ice cubes in and closes the lid and presses blend.
Heading back upstairs I walk onto the bathroom and wash up doing my usual morning routine. Drying myself off I look for what to wear and get dressed. I walk downstairs and pour my mango juice into a cup and makes some cereal with fresh cut strawberries and pours in half a glass of cold fresh full cream milk; grabbing my handbag and phone as I head out to my car, heading to the Maroon Café.
Pulling up at the Café I park the car and climb out the car walking in with my things as I greet me Powell and sits at a table near the window as I open my laptop and starts going through my check list to see what needs to be done.
The read 10:30 hr and I see Joey’s car pulling in and I smile waving at him from the window. He smiles waving back as I get back to my work as I hear the from door open as he walks on with his crew and they start setting up.
“Morning China, early bird as usual I see.”
Looking up from my laptop, “Morning to you too Joey.”
“So, what are you busy with there?” Joey asks as he stands beside me.
“Well, nothing much just sent Ling Li a reminder for her to get here on time and I’m just going through the check list.” I explain not taking my gaze off the laptop as I type.
“Well, rest assured I have all the technical things under control and if any surprises happen I have asked Mr Powell of there are generators and have everything hooked up.”
“Wow, I didn’t know you planned that far ahead well, I’m glad I have you on my team Joey.” I say looking over at him.
“I will always have your back China. I better go check on the boys and then I’ll start bringing in the lighting equipment and sound equipment so we can start setting up.” Joey says smiling at me.
“Alright, and thanks again Joey for all the hard work.” I say watching him turn around and leave.
Gets back to working on my laptop as a few more hours fly by as Me Powell brings some food for myself, Joey and his crew.
