China's POV

"Oh, not a lot of people, just your Aunty Sarah and your cousins Michael and Abigail; Marie couldn't make it she says to short notice- what a rude child- and ah that's right your uncles Patrick and Mark are coming but your cousins are unfortunately out of town so their just coming with their wives."

Jonathan and I nod smiling at each other. "For once the list is pretty short," Jonathan says with a smile kissing our mom on the check.

"Yeah and looks like three tables will sit everyone just fine so I'm happy." I smile.

"Oh, come now, you didn't think I was going, overboard did you?" our mom asks surprised.

"Well yeah!" Jonathan and I say at the same time.

"Can you blame them, Eva your idea of celebrating is rather out there if you think about it?" A man comments as he walks through the door.

"Dad, I missed you!" I run up to him giving him a hug.

Laughing in a deep tone he hugs me back as he kisses my checks, "And I missed you too Princess, your mother told me the good news. I'm proud of you sweetheart"

Smiling as I look at my father, "Thanks, dad, I am really excited about it."

So...is the food coming out now or what? "Jonathan asks with his hand over his stomach as rumble. We all burst out laughing as I go back to the kitchen with our mother to get the food and my brother and father sit at a table and chat.

An hour later our Aunty Sarah, our cousins Michael and Abigail with our uncles have all arrived and we have just finished eating the delicious dinner my mom spent hours preparing. Each table filled with pieces of oven-baked turkey, with mash potatoes and gravy, with green beans and carrots, slices of fresh steaming chicken pie and now we are having my favorite Mama's homemade milk tart and chocolate mousse.

"Attention everyone I know everybody is enjoying the food but I just want to say the reason we are here tonight is to celebrate China's great achievement after months and months of hard work she finally got the approval for the interview she has been wanting to do...with some dragon person or something..."

I chuckle correcting my mother, "Its G-Dragon mama."

"Oh, that's right G-Dragon, you sure he's not in a gang with a name like that...?"

"No Mama, he's the leader of a Korean male group called BIGBANG."

"Like the Big Bang Theory? I don't recall seeing an Asian boy in that series with a name like that." Our aunt Sarah comments back.

"No Ma, he's not in the series he's a Korean celebrity," Abigail explains in an annoyed tone.

"Oh, that makes sense." Both our mother and aunt say at the same time.

The room fills with laughter again at my aunt and mother's response. I stand up from my chair, "Um everyone thanks for coming it means so much, I hope to have a bigger get together when my interview airs on S.A.B.C" (Sydney Australia Broadcasting Channel).

"Hear! Hear!" My uncles and brother cheer as everyone one else claps and clinging their glasses together.

After helping with the dishes, I say goodbye to everyone and get into my car heading back to my apartment. Putting my jacket on the coat rack I turn on the lights locking the door. I head upstairs I turn on the stereo in my room as Melody Gardot 'Les Etoiles' plays in the background.

Stepping into the shower I let the warm water wash away the issues of the day as I humming along to the song as it continues to play. After finishing up I walk out the bathroom dry my hair and slip into my long sleeved baggy shirt and shorts getting ready for bed as I turn on my phone to check my schedule for the next day and see an incoming call on Skype, answering I see that it is Mr. Kim.

"Mr. Kim, Good evening" I sit up with my planner in front of me on my Mac.

"Evening Miss Park, I am here with Jiyong who would like to discuss some things regarding this interview that you are requesting."

Surprised though excited I smile, "Ah yes sure that's alright."

The camera shifts to a man who is in his late 20s wearing a grey beanie with black hair slipped back under the beanie-wearing thick-rimmed black glasses. He had a mustache and beard, not too thick with full shaped lips; wearing a dark jean jacket with two earrings on each ear. He leaned forward calmly introducing himself.

"Hi, I'm G-Dragon you must be China Parks, the journalist I was told about."

"It is a pleasure to finally meet you GD. Mr. Kim tells me that you have some things you want to discuss the interview." Thinking to myself how good looking he is.

"Yes, um, I would like to know where the interview is going to be held."

"At the Maroon Café, it's pre-booked so you and I and one camera crew member will be the only ones there."

"I see that sounds reassuring and will there be any questions you want me to answer beforehand?"

"A few but really in this interview, I want to get the take on who the real Jiyong is, so I'm not looking to set out questions but rather I want you to be free to tell me your story."

"This is a first, to be honest." He smiles looking more relaxed as we spoke.

"I'm sure, but know that I am only there to provide you with a free platform for you to tell your story." I smile reassuring him again.

"And your editor is okay with you doing this?"

"Yes, I got her approval, and all I need is your approval and we will get started with preparing the interview. Are you in?"

He nods taking off his glasses, "Yeah I'm in."

Taken aback at just how strong his facial features are I smile, "Great, I will forward you the date and time for the interview and a rough layout of how the interview will be structured. Does that sound good?"

"Perfect; you can forward them straight to me or my manager. Look forward to this interview, Goodnight Miss Park. "

"Goodnight." Ending the Skype call and puts my phone down. "So that was the famous GD, not at all what I expected."

I set my alarm for 05:00 am put my phone on airplane mode closing my Mac book I place it on the bedside table and turn the lamp off and head to bed.
