Prologue

After the war, after the fall of Voldemort, when the light had won, when good had risen and darkness had fallen, Ron and Hermione had started a relationship, right after the kiss in the chamber of secrets. Hermione just kissed Ron in the heat of the moment, he started a relationship with her and she didn't correct him. Harry and Ginny re-started their relationship soon after. Harry and Ginny were undeniably in love. Everyone came back to their normal life after winning the war, the remaining death eaters went to Azkaban except the ones who were pardoned like Narcissa and Draco Malfoy but not Lucius Malfoy since he was guilty of many things that he did willingly because of his love for the Dark Lord.

The war heros were worshipped, manly people from the Order of the Phoenix like Harry Potter, the boy who lived, Hermione, the brightest witch of her age, Ron, the red-headed gryffindor sidekick and Ginny, Harry's girlfriend, Hermione's female best friend and Ron's sister. The war was a time of loss, evil and sacrifice of magical blood for the greater good. After the end of the great wizarding war, mourning and grief happened but were soon replaced by happiness and freedom. Life was at it's best for almost everyone.

It was now, 1 year after the victory of the light side. Ginny and Harry were happily married much to Ron's disagreement with a little baby boy on the way. The Weasley's were still mourning over Fred's death. He was an essential part of the family with his unique humour and jokes. The family were regaining the feeling of happiness. Percy had apologized and he was married to a lovely woman named Audrey. Bill and Fleur had a little baby girl named Victoire and they were living a peaceful life. George and Angelina were dating and George was feeling better everyday. Neville and Luna are dating. Ron and Hermione were in a calm relationship since the war. Hermione was slowly realizing that she loved Ron in a brotherly way and not in a romantic manner. Hermione was feeling a little bit overwhelmed by Ron's love sick ways. Hermione feeled as if something were to happen in her relationship with Ron, like taking a step further but she eventually brushed it off as simple stress from work.

Hermione was a renowned lawyer and she was the best at the ministry, she was working for the rights of magical creatures and for the basic human rights compartment. She was working with Draco Malfoy. They were civil towards each other and they formed a great team. Draco and Hermione were actually good friends and they understood each other in a strange way. They were really similar to each other even though they didn't realize it. Ron is an auror, not the best one but he did the job. Harry was working alongside Ron as an juror. Harry was the best auror with the late Nymphadora Tonks and Kinglsey Shacklebot that the ministry ever knew. Ginny was a professional quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies but she was now on maternity leave. Neville is the herbology teacher at Hogwarts and Luna is running the Quibbler.

Their lives had changed but they were continuing happily ever after until one golden night.
