"—This is NOT Call of Duty. You can't just run around all by yourself and expect to rack up the kills, especially not when you're starting out. The best way to stay alive is teamwork, stick with your budd— My god the fuck did I just say?!"

I hear yelling beating knocking loudly on the door of my room. I glance up at the clock, 11:32 am.
I've been asleep for quite a while, and would've been longer if it weren't for the commotion.

"Jesus calm down my dude, I'm still learning here—Oh shit is that supposed to happen?!"

Taehyung. Is that Taehyung I hear? Isn't he supposed to be covering my shift?
I decide to trudge out of bed to find out.

"The actual hell is going on in here?" I hear myself asking, trying to raise my voice but yawning loudly instead.Down the hallway Taehyung has a laptop open in front him, Jungkook's Titan pro by the looks of it. I start making my way towards them, rubbing my eyes.

"Heyy you're up!" Kook says as he picks himself up from the dining chair, dusting crumbs of his sweats which are definitely from the cookie tin they have opened which lay beside the computer atop the dining table.

I don't necessarily respond, I narrow my eyes at them as Taehyung hits pause on the screen as he sees me.

"What, no why is this happening? Taehyung! Aren't you supposed to cover my shift?? I didn't even call in to tell them hoping you'd go!"

"Morning to you too! And calm down will ya? you know I can't take double shifts for the life of me. Plus I got it covered, I got you the day off. No questions asked." He wears his wide boxy grin as I try to process what he just said, "—How did you do that?" I ask despite his 'no questions asked.'

"Let's just say I worked my charms with our boss. She's got someone else for you today." he winks as he turns back to the laptop unpausing and it clicks in me. Taehyung's charms are no joke, if I counted right he's avoided atleast 5 write-ups just by making convincing fake promises accompanied by his infamous smile.

"Why didn't you just drop a text or call?" I said as I plop down on the chair next to him, replacing Kook.

By the looks of it Taehyung had little to no idea about what he was doing with the game, "I tried Rin but I couldn't reach yo—Ohhh shit no no no!" He curses,  Jungkook immediately hauls the laptop to his side "Goddamn it I'm never letting you play!!" He yells as he frantically taps over the keyboard trying to save the game. A collective groan erupts from both the boys as the game ends.

"Right yeah. I think my phone died last night, but you could've texted kook?" I say as I lean in and scan the ending stats of the game.
"—Why the fuck do I keep losing. I can't seem to get past the level. My Kill to death ratio seems pretty good right?" Taehyung asks exasperated.
Kook's lips part to answer, but I swiftly cut him off  "Having a good kill to death ratio is nice, but it won't win you matches. You have to have active capture points, learn the maps, move the payload, or defend against attackers if you want to play Overwatch the right way."

Jungkook smiles at me, almost proudly. I simply laugh it off, meanwhile Taehyung's eyes have doubled in size "How do you know so much? I didn't take you a video game geek?!"
"—and I know I could've just texted Kookie about it but it's been forever since I saw him last."

Taehyung suddenly laughs at the memory and so do I. The last time Taehyung saw him was back at the department store some time ago, when kook decided to spend the last hour of work with me because he had a silly argument with Yoongi that day, refusing to go home. Not to mention the rampage he threw because the banana milk was out of stock that day.

Jungkook rolls his eyes and changing topics quick. "She's a geek thanks to me ok? Perks of dating a gamer."

"You guys are officially, like officially DATING?!" Taehyung asks as the second shock hits him. "Since when?!"
"It sorta just happened?" I reply trying not to laugh again, Jungkook smirks "I thought everyone knew?"

Taehyung runs a slow hand threw his hair "Well damn me for being so fucking dense and oblivious..."

After Taehyung fills us in with the details of his little date from yesterday because I mercilessly prodded him to, he leaves after the boys' early lunch and my super late breakfast at around 12:30 mid-day.

I close the door behind him as Jungkook loads up the dish washer. "Minhee huh? The girl sounds strangely familiar but I can't put my finger on it" I say as I look back at kook as he walks out the kitchen. "Hmm I don't know, but atleast he sounds like he had fun" he says as he wipes his wet hands down a towel smiling.

He drops the wet cloth right on the floor and pulls me into a back hug. I tsk at him "Jeon you better pick that up" I attempt a scold as I try not to melt at his touch and warmth which seep really well through my thin clothes. He nuzzles his head between my neck and shoulder causing me to actually giggle.

"Mmh someone likes this a lot huh?" He coos into my ear. I could feel all the hair on body stand at the whisper and as he runs a hand up my thigh. "How about we pick up where we left off with our lil' stay-in home date huh?"

Chapter brought to you by Jungkook's obsession with overwatch and the recent Burn The Stage ep.

Hi. Look who finally updated!
Also I apologise for making taehyung sorta suck at video games even though I know he doesn't lol.

I write too many filler chapters ugh I'm so sorry but if you want I could finish the story here with an unhappy ending OR write another 10 chapters at the least and give the angst I promised, so which we do we steer?

Ps. If you cringed at the last part I'm so sorry Idk why I do this. I did too.
