Keep Away

"What the hell is wrong with you?" The doctor asked.
The patient was squirming vigorously in his bed as he growled and scratched. He let out a painful scream as foam and blood started to gush out of his mouth. His daughter terrified in the corner.

"1!" The toy started

"2! 3! 4! 5! 6!"

He started shaking.

"I think he's having a seizer!" A nurse said as she held him down.

"9!"

He stopped shaking. The heart monitor went into a thin line.

"10!"

All that was heard was the nurse screaming. Flesh was stuck in between his teeth as he reached for more. His eyes were foggy as he sniffed the room looking for his next victim.

"Daddy?" His 7 year old daughter asked as the doctor picked her up and ran.

Blood was spattered all over them as chaos began to break out. The patient began to tear into more people as more of "them" began to rise. Screams echoed through the hospital. Blood began to paint the walls a vivid red and bodies began to pile up.

"We need to get to the elevator." The doctor whispered in the little girls ear.

She began to silently sob as she looked back at that "thing" that used to be her father.

"What's your name, kid?" He asked trying to calm her down. His eyes went soft as he showed sympathy for the little girl. Deep down he was panicking and confused, but from all those zombie flicks, he had an idea of what they needed to do.

"Alisha." she said as they spotted an elevator.

They ran to the elevator and were greeted by other nurses and doctors that had the same idea.

"Are you guys trying to get out of the building too?" One of the doctors asked.

"Yeah. I'm Dr. Haward by the way." He hesitated to hold out his hand. "And this is Alisha, one of my patients daughters."

The 5 of them entered the elevator.

Footsteps and growls began to get closer as the door slowly shut. The nurse slid into the corner as she mumbled a few words and collaped her head into her hands. The doctor let out a sigh as he grasped the scalpel in his hand.

"I'm Dr. Stefen."
