Keith tossed and turned at the sound of the thunderstorm outside, rain drops hitting his window hard and fast, the wind howling and branches hitting his window made it harder to sleep, keith got out of bed to grab a glass of water and bumped into a wall " fuck " Keith said to himself as he walked out into the hallway of his house " stupid wall" Keith grabs a water bottle from the fridge and walked back dragging his feet across the floor in his ghost sock

Lance got up earlier and searched desperately for his favourite jacket " come on, where is it " lance pulled clothes from his draws and his closet but nothing " MOOOOOM... WHERES MY JACKET " lance shouted from his room patiently waiting for his mom to reply but nothing " gotta be fucking kidding me " lance says to himself as he walks out his bedroom to find his mom in the living room " Mom have you seen my jacket?" Lance ask his mom whose watching the news " ya it's in the basement I had it washed a few days ago" lance runs down stairs to the basement and grabs his jacket, running up stairs to his room his phone buzzes " fuck I'm gonna be late " lance rushed to his room and spray his Cologne all over the jacket and ran downstairs " Mom I need you to drive me to school now, my teacher is gonna help me with the one project but only if I go now " lance lied convincing his mom to drive him to school early.

The car ride was silent, the raindrops hitting the car windshield was about the only thing heard. The trees lining the town always looked creepy but even more when it was raining. Lance stared at the tall trees as they drive through town " of all days it rains on a Friday " lance Mom says trying to make small talk, lance ignores her. They pull into the school parking lot and lance gets out, running to the door covering his face

Walking down the halls of the old school looking for Keith's locker " where is it " he says to himself before turning the corner to see another student " Jamie?" Lance quickly turns back around but it was to late she had already seen him " hey lance " she ran up to him giving him a big hug " baby you haven't been answering my text or calls" Jamie wines " that's because I broke up with you and I want nothing to do with you " lance says trying to make it clear but not mean, Jamie walks away blowing him a kiss " god " lance says to himself as he returns to his adventure, he knew where the locker was but not the number. He finally came across the locker and punched in the code, grabbing his favourite jacket and a note he put them in Keith's locker " hope this will cheer him up " lance says to himself as he walks away smiling going to his own locker all the way across the school.

Other students finally started to arrive, the outside was littered with colourful umbrellas and students hurrying inside, Keith got out of car and ran into the school not really looking where he was going he bumps into someone " ah I'm so sorry " not looking he apologize " it's okay Keith " Keith's looks up to see who it's, lance. He ran into one of the hottest guys in his school thank god lance was nice and didn't really pick on Keith " remember your helping me tonight " lance says waking away , Keith's signs and walks to his locker, Keith opens his locker and a note falls, he quickly picks it up

Keith blushed as he read note, he grabbed the jacket and put it on, it was clearly to big for him but he didn't mind , Keith continued on with his day in probably this best thing ever to him.
