It didn't take me long to wake up. I immediately felt the cold air embrace me, as I realised I was kneeling on cold tiles and was dressed in thin, torn rags. Both my hands were chained above me on a stone wall, that froze my back if I dared to lean on it. There was a light that hung from the roof, it's long chord was so thin it looked as though it was about to snap. It gently flickered, but even so, it simply added more depth to my fear.

For a long time everything was silent, until I heard a door open and slam shut. My anxiety returned almost instantly, and the fear inside me ate my stomach, as the low clunk of footsteps traveled down some stairs.

"I told you it wouldn't of been long." Rumbled a low voice.

"Are you...are you Darkiplier?" I said, assuring that everything in front of me was actually happening.

The figure stepped into the flickering light, lifting his hands as if to gesture that it was him, the one and only.

"Surprised?" He said.

I bowed my head, swallowing my thoughts and trying to think everything through. This guy was only ever meant to be an imaginary ego from Mark's channel. Not some actual person, or demon at that!

"It's funny to think that you didn't even believe I existed." Said Dark, interrupting me from my thoughts.

Dammit, I just remembered he can read minds.

"That is correct my girl."

"I am not your girl!" I snarled, showing off my aggression.

"Now, now. There's no point in wasting your energy. You're going to be here for a while after all." Said Dark with a sly grin on his face.

"You can't keep me in here forever!" I growled, rattling my chains.

"Oh! And how do you suppose to escape? You're not going anywhere without the keys." Replied Dark, walking closer to me and kneeling down.

He reached for his chest pocket and pulled a pair of keys out, dangling them just out of my reach. I bared my teeth and grumbled.

"So, if you be a good kitten, maybe I'll let you go. But if you're a bad kitten, you'll have to suffer the consequences. Do I make myself clear?" Growled Dark.

I suddenly spat in his face. He flinched before wiping the spit off his face, before grabbing my throat and leaning close to me and growling some vicious words.

"No matter how much you fight, eventually, you will give in, and you will and shall remain, forever under my control!" He smirked before pushing off of me and walking out of the basement, leaving me to grieve in my own silence.
