Chapter 7: Heal

Kung dati ay reserved pa ang feelings ko sakanya, well, I'll go all out now. I'll clearly let him know and everyone else how I feel about him. I'll fight and do anything... just to have him. I won't let him go back to such a lowly woman or anyone that he doesn't deserve. I swear to that!

Kinurot ko ang sarili ko sa frustration.

Ano ba ang nagawa ng iilang araw at naging ganito na ako kasama, huh!?

I guess all my frustrations, anger, disappointment, sadness got bottled up to this.... into this desire I have right now to get what I want. Fuck limits because sasagarin ko na ang lahat. Di katulad ng dati, I'm not going to be someone who's hesitating to do the first move... who's waiting for the guy to make a move on her.

Starting today, I'll make every move in order to have him.

"Everyone did so, Sir. Well, let's just see how it goes?" sagot ni Tita Beth pagkatapos ng medyo mahabang katahimikan.

Our network president was that intimidating kaya ni isa sa amin ay wala ng nasabi pabalik. Besides, it's too sensitive to talk about it. Even though I feel happy that no one's siding with the girl that Eros is with, I feel like it shouldn't be brought up yet.

"So, let's continue with the meeting, shall we?" anyaya ni Mr. Clemente.

For the next hours, Tita Beth actively talked with the Executive Directors. Sila-sila ang nag-ayos ng plano with approval from the network president. Kahit ang simpleng detalye tulad ng kalian nagsimulang maging kami ni Eros ay sila na din ang nag-decide. It was actually pretty long since they thought about the logic and loopholes.

They're geniuses. How they could think about such details is beyond me. Iba talaga kapag totoong versatile sa mundo ng showbiz, huh? Sabagay, they won't be considered as one of the prominent showbiz masterminds kung hindi nila alam magpakulo katulad ng pinag-uusapan nila.

"Meeting adjourned." deklara ng presidente ng network.

With that, everyone almost immediately left their seats to go outside. It has been a long meeting. I can't believe we've stayed there until 8:30 pm at ang halos nagsalita lang ay ang mga mastermind sa pakulo.

Throughout the whole meeting, something have bothered me really bad... Eros' emotionless face. I didn't hear him say anything throughout the whole meeting and whenever someone spoke, he would only turn to them to face them. There was really no response at all. I would've expected him to at least have the slightest reactions... maybe, frustrated?

That girl has got him really bad, huh? Don't you worry, Eros. I'm here to heal whatever's broken. I am here for you. Things wouldn't happen for a reason and this opportunity wouldn't have happened if it didn't mean that I have a chance with him.

"Marjorie, mauna kana sa sasakyan... May kakausapin lang ako saglit." sambit ko sa aking personal assistant bago maglakad paalis.

"Sige, Ryn. Text ka nalang." she nodded, as if she knows who I'm talking to.

Sabagay, siya ang katabi ko kanina. It's not that hard to notice that I was staring at Eros the whole time kanina. Matagal na din akong naghihinala na may alam si Marjorie kahit papaano. Well, I'm not going to be shy of my feelings now. I'll admit it to her soon, as well.

Sakto, nadatnan ko ang target ko ngayong gabi na may kausap pa. Buti nalang at hindi pa naglakad ng malayo.

"Mag-ingat ka, pre. Balik trabaho ka bukas." sambit kay Eros ng kanyang personal assistant na si Ron.

"Alam ko. Una nako, pre." malamig na sagot ni Eros at tumungo na sa opposite na direksyon kay Eros.

I wonder if he noticed my presence... probably not! Nasa bandang likod lang ako ni Ron dahil sa direksyon niya ang mismong exit sa conference room.
