Kara's POV

I gasped.

The skeletons were doing their job well, fending off the leviathans and giants while we were losing our breath.

Sila ang humahadlang everytime a creature takes advantage of our half-conscious state.

"I'll take it from here guys." pinulot ko ang shield at hinagis ito sa leviathan which is supposed to be an anti-Athena.

Yep. Nababasa niya lahat ng mga galaw ko. Sinubukan kong mag trick aim but he knows everything that I know. Nagamit ko na nga lahat ng combat strategies ko kaya sa ngayon, I am on auto mode. Tinatanggap ko lahat ng atake niya at minsan, nagawa ko namang ibalik ito sa kanya.

I felt my eyes burn.

If I know, my eyes are glowing at its brightest.

I took several steps back because he lunged directly at me. Nakita ko ang isang espada na nakalatay sa gilid kaya tumakbo ako para kunin ito.

Grabbing the smallest opportunity I have, I took a risk and jumped on his arm.

Siguro nga namemorize niya lahat ng actions ko.

Except this... dahil ngayon lang ako nakaisip nito.

Two more jumps at nasa balikat na niya ako nakasabit. I was hanging on for dear life when I heard someone call out my name.

Annoyingly, I looked below and found Chase, Art, Kaye and Matilda.

"What?!" my voice sounded rough.

"May problema tayo!" sigaw ni Chase mula sa ibaba.

Kumunot ang noo ko.

Problema? They interrupted me because there was a problem?

The leviathan let out a shriek when I pushed my shield behind its neck and sliced it all the way down to his shoulder. Saka ako tumalon pababa.

After meeting their gaze, my eyes drifted across the whole place looking for someone.

"Kara.. kaya mo ba siyang mahanap? baka kasi.. nasa trance siya eh.." bakas sa boses ni Art ang matinding pag-aalala.

Umiling ako. "I can't.. not right now. I have overused my abilities already."

I'm drained. Nagamit ko na ng husto ang abilities ko and I can't push it any further.

"Can't find her." ani Dio na kararating lang kasama si Seht.

"Ah... hinahanap niyo ba ang anak ni Aphrodite?"

Napatingin kaming lahat sa leviathan na nakatayo sa harap namin. If I recall, siya ang nakatapat ni Cesia.

"Siya ang inuna ni Eris." his grin grew wider. "at kayo na ang susunod."

Before he could move however, a black hole formed on his chest.

Slowly, the shadow ate his whole body...

The sky too, kept getting darker.. and darker.

Until it was all black.

"U-umm..." Art waved her hand again and again pero hindi ito lumiliwanag.

We heard the sounds of lightning enough to shake the entire place and silence everyone.

Supposedly, there should be light cracking in the heavens during a thunderstorm.

But there wasn't.

The lightning itself had no light.

It was pitch black.

"I didn't know I'd live to see this." Matilda commented.

"puta-ILABAS NIYO NA SI CESIA TANGINA AYOKO NETO!" sigaw ni Chase.

I looked at the Huntres and their eyes were not glowing anymore. It became dull. Siguro dahil sa pagkawala ng liwanag mula sa buwan.

"This will end up bad. May sinabi sa'kin si Persephone noon.. sa Underworld. Nyx is a rebel too and she controls the darkness. She can alter his abilities and use it against him.." pagbibigay-alam ni Matilda.

Tumindig ang balahibo ko.

Immediately, a lightning went straight to our position. Bago pa ito tumama sa'min, I managed to throw my shield up towards the sky.

That was close.

I thought this was all of it but then a thick fog encircled the whole area.

"Now what?" I asked.

The fog gave me familiar vibes. Still, nagdulot ito ng discomfort sa'kin.

"He's a descendant of Zeus. He can command the skies and the mortal realms. And as a descendant of Hades, he can use whatever the Underworld has to offer for the mortal realms. Seriously, nakalimutan niyo na ba? That makes him a manipulator of all the realms." si Kaye ang sumagot.

"sooo?!?!" Art leaned forward and so did the rest of us.

The three realms...

I mean, there's only one thing from the underworld that really matters to the mortals...

It's the same thing that protects the mortal realms from the mythical realms.

"The mist.." I uttered in complete disbelief.
