C H A E Y O U N G

Park Chaeyoung almost ran out of the room when Park Jimin dismissed them for lunch. Slowly, blood rushed up to her face when the early occurrence dawned onto her.

"That son of a-!." she mumbled while she picked out a bread from the counter and quickly paid for it.

Her hand almost crushed the poor pastry when she remembered why she despised the man so bad. Chaeyoung is fucking glad and proud to be ignoring his existence.

Not until what just happened.

'Two faced bastard.'

Sitting down on the corner of the rooftop, she looked down at the noisy crowd of students enjoying their lunch. She grimaced at the noise and put her earphones on, playing the piano recordings she took of herself playing.

"Pervert." she whispered to no one while she angrily took a bite from her food. Although being angry and irritated, she is flustered.

That's why she's pissed off, she didn't expect for something like that to happen.

Her mind wandered to when she first disliked the existence of Park Jimin, her homeroom and math teacher.

It was the summer before her last year in highschool and Chaeyoung is spending it on piano lessons. With her guitar safely tucked inside its case, she hauled it from her bike into her shoulder. The old instrument she liked carrying around which eased her anxiety, it served as a good friend more than anyone has ever done for her.

One week of lessons and she easily felt like the small studio is her home.

"Chaeyoung! You're here!" her teacher, Heejin beamed with delight. She looked pretty and feminine with her dress and soft curls framing her porcelain skin. Chaeyoung can't help but to take a peak at her own clothing, which includes an oversized black shirt tucked in her tattered shorts. Her black converse isn't helping with her self esteem too.

Chaeyoung smiled back and greet her with equal delight, perhaps being in college helps your sense of fashion.

Heejin picked up where they left and Chaeyoung quickly learned. She was always praised and was questioned why she even took her class as she is good enough to even teach.

Chaeyoung answered with a simple, "Playing piano is my resting area."

When the four hour lesson ended and Chaeyoung was about to bid her goodbyes, she heard the door of the studio open with a loud bang.

A whiff of pink hair on a handsome man in casual clothes passed her, the sound of her piano teacher squealing in delight followed. Chaeyoung was about to open the door when she caught the man's face, the way his eyes closed in happiness and his plump lips formed into a bright smile is enough to earn any woman's heart. Although with his arms around Heejin, Chaeyoung can't help but think he is attractive.

"Jimin oppa, why are you here?"

"Boyfriends are supposed to visit their girlfriends."

And that was what it took Chaeyoung to finally leave, smiling at the sweet yet cringey line the man said.

The following days, they continued with their lesson but Chaeyoung noticed the sickly look on her teacher's face. "Heejin unnie, are you okay?"
