Drew's Pov :

"I need to go." I told Lily.

I know I shouldn't have left her in her time of need, but I was too angry and selfish to control myself.

I ran down the hall, stomped my way down the stairs and made my way through the living room.

"Drew?" Leo asked.

"I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch!" I roared.

"Drew, What the hell!" Alex joined in, following me, as well Leo.

I stormed my way to the back door, but before I could open it, Leo and Alex tried to stop me.

"F*ck off!" Daen yelled at them.

They knew my wolf was out and let go.

I stormed out the door and shifted. I didn't even care about my now shated clothes.

I ran as far away as I could from that house.

I was so angry, I kept on getting mind-linked from all 4 guys, but I ignored them.

I ran and ran, never getting tired.

I heard someone following me amd knew it was Jackson.

I just wanted to be alone!

I eventually outran and tricked Jackson, leaving him behind.

I ran until I was somewhere in Washington.

I knew if I let my wolf take over immediately, I was gonna kill Scott. So I ran far away from Nevada.

I couldn't shift back or call someone to pick me up.

I finally calmed down a bit, but my Daen is still tense.

When I finally accompanied my surroundings, I saw that it has gotten dark outside.

I knew everybody back home was wondering where I am.

I knew Lily would be the one most worried.

I still remember hearing her sob as I was leaving the house.

Lily wasn't the only one on my mind anymore.

The Devil himself was.

If I just got my hands on him, I knew I wouldn't be able to stop myself.

I managed to make myself turn around and head home.

After I believe 2 to 3 hours of running back I made it back to the back door step.

I saw a black tee and black baggy basketball shorts were laid out for me.

I also saw that my ruined clothes were picked up.

I grabbed the new clothes and changed behind a tree.

I came back inside and saw almost everybody in the living room.

Lily wasn't there.

"Where's Lily?" I asked casually.

"Where'd you run off to?" Stacey asked, completely ignoring me.

I scratched the back of my neck, thinking where I made it to.

"Washington, maybe Canada." I replied.

"Canada?" Stacey asked shocked.

"Yeah. Where's Lily?" I asked.

This time Jackson answered, "She went for a walk."

"With who?" I asked. leaning on the back of the couch.

"No one." Jackson said.

"No one! You let her go alone?!" I shouted.

Jacksons my beta, he should know better.

"She said she wasn't going far." Parker said.

"When did she leave?" I asked.

"About a hour ago." Alex answered.

"You guys are so stupid! She has a damn cast on her foot!" I yelled at them.

"She said she was taking one of the trails." Leo said.

I growled.

"I'll be back." I growled and went to the trails, that her scent led to.

Her scent led to one of the main trails that has a dead end.

Knowing Lily she wouldn't go off the trail.

I ran the trail. It was about a good 2 mile trail.

I ran and ten minutes later I was at the dead end and I haven't found her.

Strange?

Maybe it was the other trail, but what catches me is the smell.

Her scent is fresh and the scent goes up into the sky. The air must have caught it. Her scent doesn't lead into the woods, so she didn't go there.

"Drew!" I heard her call.

I turned my head behind me, but she wasn't there, the way her voice sounded, wasn't a help calling.

I ran out of the trail and saw Lily in sweats, sitting on a lawn chair.

Her blonde hair was in a messy bun and the cresent moon reflected off her nose piercing.

"Where were you?" I asked, sitting on a chair next to her.

"Didn't the guys tell you?" she asked.

"Ya, but your scent went to the end of the trail and just vanished." I exclaimed.

"Drew I walked back here." she said.

"Then your scent would have led that way." I told her.

"Are you okay?" She asks me.

"Yes, I'm fine!" I said louder.

"Where were you?" she asked, ignoring my change of tone. "I was worried."

"Canada, I think, but" I said, suddenly remembering what I came here for. "I'm sorry I left."

"I needed you Drew." She said, looking at me, sad.

"I'm sorry. Daen wanted to kill that-" I began to say, but I know Lily didn't want to hear it. "I had to get away, before it was beyond my control." I explained to her.

I got out of my seat and scooped Lily in my arms and sat back down in my chair with Lily on my lap.

"I'm sorry." I whispered in her ear and hugged her.

We didn't say anything else. We were just hugging each other.

Ten minutes later, Lily said. "I forgive you."

I kissed her forehead.

She looked up at me and smiled.

I kissed her.

She kissed me back.

I kissed her like it was my last.

I love Lily.

I know that this is the girl I want forever.
