LUCAS POV

This was not what I expected to happen when I wanted Katy to come to my place to talk. Missy will rip her to pieces for crying out loud! But when I looked over at Katy, I could see the sheer anger bubbling out of her and I was curious to see how far she would go before she burst. I think she may be one of the few people that could beat Missy in a bitch fight.

People think I am oblivious to the fact that Missy likes me but I know. And it’s bloody annoying to say the least. I have never liked her like that and never will. She is not my type anyway.

But there is something about Katy I just can’t put my finger on it. Even though she denies the fact that we have never met before, I still definitely know I have seen her somewhere.

I shake my head, still in thought, as I walk out of MY house. Jamie walks up next to me.

“Well, that went well.” she says sarcastically crossing her arms.

“It sure did.” I sigh replying back in the same tone.

“Who is she anyway? I mean I know her name’s Katy but she looks familiar for some reason.” She asks with her eyebrow raised while tapping her chin. I look at her bewildered. She recognises her too?

“What?” she asks studying my face with confusion.

“It’s just that I think she looks familiar too but I can’t think where I have seen her before.” I explain.

“Oh. Weird. It probably doesn’t matter too much anyways.” She says distractedly. I nod unenthusiastically.

“So where you off to now? I mean I don’t know about you but I don’t wanna go back in there and ruin a good catfight.” She asks while smirking. I chuckle at her comment and nod in agreement.

“I’ll probably head off to Zay's. I need to talk to him.”

“You seem to want to talk to a lot of people.” She states. I roll my eyes at her.

I need some more answers about this mysterious girl and Zay seems to be the person to go to as he lives opposite her. Wow I can’t believe I am obsessing over a girl like her.

“See ya Jamie.” I say before heading off to my car.

MAYA POV

“Let the games begin cupcake.” She says in a fake tone while shooting me a wicked grin.

We both stood face to face glaring at each other.

“What is your problem?!” I hiss at her.

“You.” She replies simply. Wow she’s not even dating Lucas yet she is still acting like a jealous girlfriend.

“What have I done wrong?” I ask half shout at her.

“It’s all rainbows and cupcakes with you. I mean look at you! You look like a fairy! Lucas needs a woman not a little girl!” she snarls at me. Was she seriously for real? It’s not like I’m even dating Lucas and I don’t exactly plan to. Yet.

“Well then you clearly don’t fit into that category.” I shoot back at her, feeling my anger surge within me.

“You bitch!” She screams at me before I feel a pang of force on the side of my face. The same side which Lucas also hit me. I scream out in pain as I stumble back a few steps hitting a hard wall behind me. I was honestly sick of being used as a punching bag. I give her the most deathly glare I could manage.

“Oooh I’m so scared of little Disney Princess here.” She says sarcastically. I honestly wanted to punch the living shit out of her but I kept my cool. I needed answers from her.

“I’m going to ask again and I better fucking get a proper response this time. What the hell is your problem with me?” I ask bitterly while still holding my throbbing cheek. She laughs wickedly at me.

“Honey, you need to stay the FUCK away from him!” She replies back just as bitterly, referring to Lucas. Wait where have I heard that before (End of chapter 9 when Maya meets Missy for the first time) I sigh in frustration.

“How about I give you some handy advice here love. You need to quit acting like a jealous girlfriend and move on. Lucas honestly does not like you in that way so I suggest you be happy for him whoever he is with.” I say trying to control my anger. She stares at me open mouthed. As I said before, this bitch needs a reality check and that is exactly what she got. I took this as a cue to shuffle my way out of this house and back to my own. So much had happened today and right now I needed my bed.

Just as I reached the front door, I heard a voice behind me.

“Who the fuck are you?” She asks stunned. I sigh before answering.

“Your worst nightmare.” And with that, I open the front door and leave.

Lucas POV

As soon as I arrived at Zays I marched out of my car and let myself in.

“You know Lu, there is a doorbell.” I hear a voice from the living room. I roll my eyes.

“Nice to see you to Zay.” I reply sarcastically. I enter the living room and I see him sprawled over the sofa scrolling through his phone. He sits up when he sees me enter.

“What’s up with you? You look like you have been slapped… by a carrot.” He asks genuinely, studying my face.

“You’re not funny you know.” I reply grumpily.

“Geez Lu! Lighten up!” He says while raising his hands. I sigh at him. He may have the body of a 21 year old but he has the mind of a 5 year old.

“Listen Z, I need to talk to you.” I say seriously. His face suddenly becomes straight as all traces of humour are now gone.

“What’s up?” he asks curiously.

“You know that girl Katy who lives opposite you.” I point to the window behind me showing him her house. He nods at me.

“Did you tell her about me when you first saw her?” I ask firstly. He looks at me confused.

“Ummm no why?” Hmmmm interesting. So she’s been lying to me.

I shake my head at him.

“No reason.” I reply smiling to myself. “And secondly, do you recognise her from somewhere? Because both Jamie and I do but we don’t know where from.” I ask him. I swear I saw a hint of a smile cross his feature but quickly shakes this off.

“No I haven’t seen her before.” He replies seriously. I stare at him for a moment before accepting his response.

“Hey by the way, the rivals are getting closer to tracing Cameron again. With what happened at the alleyway earlier on, I don’t think things will be good.” He says changing the topic. I groan in frustration.

“Fine. I’ll sort it out.” I reply taking out my phone while standing up. “I’ll let you know what happens yeah?” I say. He nods in response and I walk out of his house looking for the person in my contact list.

“Thanks Zay!” I call as I walk to my car. Where is his number? I scroll down more until I finally reach the contact I was looking for. He is the only person who can help track down where the rival gang is.

I quickly press the call button while sliding into my car. After a few rings I hear his gruff voice on the other line.

“Hey Josh, I need your help.”
