"Come in you silly kids!" Mrs. CopperBottom called from inside the CopperBottom home. "Awww but mom." Rodney whined and (y/n) put the toy car down. "Awwww come on Rodney, it's your favorite!" Rodney's beautiful blue eyes lit up and he zoomed up the stairs to his house. "Come on (y/n)!!" He called as he crossed the door frame. "I'm coming Rodney!" (Y/n) called and got up with her excited (e/c) eyes. Inside the house held a cuddly feeling, a comfortable one that (y/n) had loved. More comfortable than her own home. Her parents were very, well, nasty. (Y/n) grew up in a very bitter home, the CopperBottoms knew it so they had her over as much as they could to make sure that she ate and slept. She also took place as Rodney's best friend.
"This is really good Mom!" Rodney said eating some of the nuts and bolts his mom made. (Lol me no know😂). "It is! Thank you miss CopperBottom." (Y/n) said shyly. "That's no problem sweetie, just know that you are loved here and you always will be, by all of us." "Even Rodney?" (Y/n) blushed and smiled immensely. Mrs. CopperBottom smiled and giggled a little. Rodney looked up in shock and blushed a bit. (Hey idc if they're robots they can blush.) "Even Rodney." Mrs. CopperBottom called from the kitchen. "Do you love me Rodney?" (Y/n) whispered across the table to her friend. Rodney blushed and hid his head in his hands. "I think we're too young for that (y/n)." He mumbled behind his cold metal fingers. "Me too." (Y/n) said making fake puke noises. "Alright kids look what I've got!" Mrs. CopperBottom called coming in the dining room holding a box. "Ooo What is it Mom?" Rodney stood on his chair in excitement. "Hold on Rodney dear." Mrs. CopperBottom said putting the box down on the table. She pulled out two little silver gages. "Oooo." (Y/n) starred at the beautiful parts. Mrs. CopperBottom grabbed her welder and signaled Rodney to come to her. She welded the gage to his chest and signaled (y/n) to come to her. She soon welded the other gage to her chest. "Now they're re-weldable when you guys grow out of your parts." Mrs. CopperBottom explained. "Wow." Rodney gasped examining his. "They're so shiny!" "They are!" (Y/n) said pressing her fingers against hers. "Thank you Mrs. CopperBottom!" "Thank you Mom!" Rodney said excitedly. "Now we can be friends forever!" "Forever?" (Y/n) exclaimed with a twinkle in her eye. "Forever." Rodney replied returning that twinkle.
