Zens POV

Theres this beautiful girl that goes to my school. She's in some of my classes. Her looks are stunning. Her hair perfect, her eyes a beautiful shade of (E/C), her skin flawless, a beautiful wardrobe.
There's probably a million of things perfect about her.
Even her name is wonderful (Y/N) (L/N).
She has lots of friends, people ask her out a lot. I envy her... Lots.
I've tried to be friends with her, but she doesn't want people close to her.
If only I could have her gorgeous looks, her ability to make so many friends that she needs to turn some down.
In my opinion, I have pretty good looks but the friend thing is a problem.
I want to try and become her friend but she'll probably just turn me down.

~@ school

  I slowly walk to my first block, science. I go ahead and sit in my seat in the very back. Where I'm non-existent.
I'm not good at science or just school in general. Honestly, the effort I put in is little anymore.

As the tardy bell rung and nearly every student was in there seats the teacher walked up the front of the classroom.

"Okay yall where gonna be doing a partner project." The teacher stated flipping through some papers in their hand.

The students cheered and chatted soon the room was filled with obnoxious teens talking about who they're gonna be partners with.

"Hey Hey! Chill down!" The teacher yelled getting everyone's attention. And just like that, the room went quiet again.

"I will be choosing the partners." The teacher smiled bringing out popsicle sticks with everyone's name placed on it.

Nearly all of the students groaned and complained.
"Too bad." teacher smiled.

The teacher started calling out names when she got my name.
"Hyun Ryu and Jumin Han."
"Dam." I cursed under my breath.
"Umm... Jumin isn't here today." One of the students said.
"Hm oh yeah. Well, we can exempt him from this project since it should only take a few hours.". The teacher sighed at her mistake.
I took a giant sigh of relief and smiled.
It's good I don't have to work with that cat furry creep.(I might regret calling Jumin a Fury xD)

"okay than Hyun Ryu and (Y/N) (L/N)." The teacher pulled out the stick with (Y/N)s name.
A smile reached on my face. Oh, how lucky I am to have gotten (Y/N).
I dozed out as the teacher called out the remaining names. I went into a fantasizing daydream about me and (Y/N) being friends.

"Zen! Zeeen! Are you deaf?" A pleasant sounding voice ringed in my ears.
I slightly jumped.
(Y/N) was at my table.
"Stop sleeping in class you'll get a bad grade," she told me as she sat in the empty seat next to me.
"S-so w-what are w-we going to do?" I stuttered. Gosh, I'm ruining things why must I stutter.
"Were you even listing!?" She opened her mouth in a gasp as to why must I work with this idiot.
".. N-no." I hesitated worried she might hate me or think I'm really really stupid.
"Oh my god ... What kind of person are you do you not care about dinosaurs!?" She gave me a stern look.
"W-what I guess."
"Wow, are you saying you don't care about me?" She asked me in a 'wtf' tone.
"W-wait! What?" I questioned her.
"I self-identify as dinosaurs and our project is on dinosaurs." She gave me a strict look.
"Wait... I'm confused." I stated very confusedly.

Her straight face slowly deformed into a grin.
"Were you joking?" I asked her tilting my head.
She shook her head 'yes' "this is why I have no friends." She smiled sitting her head on the desk.
"No no you have plenty of friends," I told her.
"Well... Yeah." She rose her head off of the desk and looked at me with a small smile.
