"Axel Rodgers?"
They called for him. Axel and his mother walked into the office. They seated in front of a desk with the doctor behind it. He had pulled out the folder from the previous appointment.
"How have you been? It's been a month since I last seen you. Still experiencing any pain?"
"Yes sir. I still get migraines but with the medication, it help relieve me a little."
"A litte? Okay. Ma'am have you notice any changes with Axel. Such as mood swing, sluggishness?"
"Axel has his days but overall he seems to be doing okay and as he said the medicine help."
"Hearing that the current medication is not having an affect on him like before, I would like to prescribed him on new medication right away. We would have to run test, make sure he's not allergic or anything out of the ordinary." The doctor hands them some papers
"Any questions while I get things set up?"
"I have just one. You worked with people like me all the time and my brother has been doing some research about surgery. I would like know if it really works." He asked curiously
"Axel I'm going to be honest. Yes I have worked with patients like you and yes they were committed to following through with the procedure. I've had successful patients and others not so lucky. It all depends you."
The championship game is coming up. He wanted to play better, be better in life in general. This was the only way. Thing is, would it be successfully?
