Weird right?

I pulled up to the parking and parked my car in a spacious lot. Wow! This lot looks a little private and isolated. But I shrugged the thought off and focussed my attention to the beautiful Empire in front of me. I made my way inside, not forgetting the little incident from my first time here. Remembering that day got a smile to make its way onto my face, and a scowl because of the threat I received. I have no time for sulking about my first day here, so I made my way to the receptionist, Alayna to ask her where I can find Mr. Richard.

"Good morning Mishel! I am glad you are bright and early." She greeted happily.

"Ya. I am surprised myself too, because I am not a morning person, especially not without coffee." I told her.

She just smiled, but it didn't last long, she was looking behind me with a serious look and quickly composed herself. "Oh! Mr. Delrasso!" I quickly turned around afraid that he might taunt me again for being in this department, but I saw no one. Alayna suddenly started laughing.

"Oh my god. Your face. You actually fell for it." How dare she! "Sorry! I just wanted to see your reaction to him. It was funny how you turned the beast mode on him." I didn't know what to say. I just glared at her.

"Well, its great he isn't here actually. I don't want to start my first day of work with a negative vibe and that 6 foot devil reeks a whole lot of negativity." Alayna stopped smiling again and went a little pale, but I didn't fall for it so I continued. "He looks like a time ticking bomb ready to explode when he is angry, and oh my god he walks into the room like he is some god, like seriously is he expecting people to now worship and kiss the floor because god has made him on a Sunday with such concentration. Remember what he said and I quote 'Miss D'Alesio watch that mouth of yours.' Blah blah! Like what does he think of himself? God?! I'm sorry I can't control my mouth at such insults. And my god! His ego is bigger than the Empire. He is like the devils son." I concluded.

I blew out a breath.

That was quite an exercise of the mouth.

I think that was enough of backbiting. Lord I am really sorry, do forgive me.

I was still confused as to why Alayna was still pale after my little speech. She was looking right behind me. Then it suddenly clicked.

Oh. My. God! "He's behind me isn't he?" I murmured with widened eyes, Alayna just gave me a hesitant nod, while I was scared as hell!

God, what did I do now? I really need to learn to shut up!

This is exactly why he had insulted me.

And I keep on making use of his philosophy on my mouth.

I slowly turned around expecting him to be very angry, but what shocked me was that his eyes showed anger while his posture was calm as a cow. Now that silence, ladies and gentlemen, either means he didn't hear my full speech or it is a silence before a storm that I see in his eyes. Maybe I just invited myself to be one of the unemployed in his list.

"Miss Stone, I need to speak with you about a couple of changes made in the department." He calmly said.

Alayna just stood there awkwardly nodding her head. And me, well I just stood there gaping at him.

Expecting something maybe in return. A glare? I don't know.

I think it's time to leave the building before I could settle here.

I took my time to take in his features, his beautiful silky black hair, that tempted me to run my hand through it, and his beautiful stormy grey eyes that would look more beautiful if he smiled, but that isn't something I would ever be blessed to see. As I analyzed his beautiful eyes and face, I just had this weird flashback, like I have seen these orbs before, like I have known them, the flicker of an unknown emotion, a look of recognition. But just as fast as the feeling had come, the faster it had disappeared, like it wasn't even there. I tried to rummage through my memory, but to no avail. I concluded that I probably recognized him from the magazines and the pictures on the news. I mentally rolled my eyes because of the obviousness.
