"Well, um, heh, yeah my apartment building is in the area, and I had a couple weekends to kill, so, I signed myself up. And that's where I met Maou!" she gave a small closed-eyed smile. Before speaking again.

"Well, it was fun seeing you again, but I should really get home."

"Of course, sorry to trouble you,"

"Oh it wasn't too much trouble," she finally spoke, "Well I best be off now. Goodnight to you all."

And with that she turned on her heel and started descending the staircase.

'That was very odd. I felt, kinda happy.'

She thought to herself as the young girl walked to her apartment complex.

'Normally I would get a bored vibe from others when I first meet them, or they would irritate me just by being in their presence. This was different. I felt genuinely content from speaking to them.'

Aiko unlocked her door and stepped inside, throwing her bag on the couch and taking off her shoes and headphones.

'Im not in the mood to uncover that mystery right now. I need sleep'

On her way to work the next afternoon, Aiko had to pass the corner where she encountered the two strangers the night before. Recounting the incident, the woman kept walking subconsciously. Unbeknownst to her, she ended up walking in a direction far from her place of work.

'I haven't been able to get the trio off my mind since last night. Why were they different? What made them so special? Was this the Earth's energy forces giving me a chance to find comrades?'

"WHAAA!!!" Aiko yelp as she tripped and face planted into the ground.

"Ugh, what in the hell...?" She pushed herself up and knelt next to what she tripped over.

'A bicycle?' She raised a brow and examined it more closely. It had a flat tire and was dented in a few places. Aiko noticed a bright white sticker plastered underneath the bike seat.

If found, return to Maou, Sadao at Villa Rosa Sasazuka, apart. 201.

"Excuse me miss?" Aiko turned her head and saw two police officers towering over her. "Do you own this bike?"

"Oh, no I don't. But I do know the owner. I was actually going to bring it back to him."

The two men glanced at each other for a moment before one spoke.

"Miss you are going to have to come with us. This bike is at the scene of an attack that happened last night. We need to bring you in for questioning."

Aiko deadpanned.

'You have got to be kidding me...'

"So they took you in because you told them you knew me?"

"Yup, apparently because I was going to take the bike and return it to you, they thought I was some kind of accomplice."
