Jihoon hesitated but moved his hand on top of Soonyoung's.

He turned his head and looked at Soonyoung. Light shone through the window and lit up his face.

Soonyoung's eyes widened at the sudden action but intertwined their fingers.

He noticed that the ring Roa gave Jihoon wasn't on his finger anymore. She probably took it back.

"Sorry for being a jerk." Jihoon spoke.

"You?" Soonyoung said. "I was an even bigger a*shole in highschool...for stupid reasons. Don't apologize."

"Still.." Jihoon put in. "I'm sorry."
