different but the same

Author's Note: The reason I took so long for this is because I put in a tremendous amount of time researching on myths and beliefs of mythical creatures. I sacrificed sleep and my brain for this I hope you guys enjoy it !

It was a different feeling all over. For once, they didn't hear the usual hustle and bustle of the busy city. No cars busily driving past, honking. No sound of neighbours yelling or people rushing to get to their destinations in the morning. No sound of trains on tracks or rushing commuters. It was nothing but quiet and serene. For once, the air they breathed in made them feel refreshed and it was almost as if they were on an isolated island. That morning, they all slept in till afternoon came.

Jimin was first to wake up amongst the 7, stretching as comfortably as he can in Jungkook's arms without waking the younger up. Though weaker than Jungkook as their mini test proved, Jimin managed to pry the younger's tight hold off him and got up. He dressed himself with a random white shirt he found on the floor and his boxers. Leaving the younger with a peck, he went out of the room to find Yoongi shuffling out of his own room and into the kitchen.

"morning hyung.." Jimin mumbled sleepily as he reached for a bottle of water. Yoongi grumbled lowly in response before sitting at the dining table. "make me coffee will you?" The younger nodded and moved to make the elder's coffee as he liked it. "It's the first time you're second to wake up hyungie" Yoongi whined as he rested his head on the table. "Don't mention it. I feel like I'm not myself" Jimin chuckled as he served the elder's coffee before sitting across him. "Already did"

"Good morning my lovelies~" Jin greeted them happily as he walked into the kitchen before stopping by the table, doing a double take. "Omo- Yoongi? Are my eyes seeing things?" Yoongi grumbled as he looked at the eldest. "Hyung, want me to make you see stars?" Jin made a face as he took ingredients out of the fridge. "No thank you. I can see those well at night. I would very much like to be able to distinguish day and night" Jimin laughed at the exchange of words, slumping against his chair as he watched his eldest hyung cook.

Namjoon shuffled into the kitchen as he rubbed his eyes. Stopping beside the kitchen table, he looked between Jimin and Yoongi before freezing. "Yoongi hyung? Are my eyes-" "Seeing things? Seriously if one more person says something about me waking up ear- HOBIIIIIII" Yoongi whined as he ran to hug Hoseok who very similarly rubbed his eyes as he came to the dining table. "Hobiii they're poking fun at me.." Hoseok cooed as he squished Yoongi in a hug, babying him with words like 'aww my poor baby' and so on. Jimin grinned as he watched on. "No wonder Yoongi hyung is a puppy. So cute"

He looked down when he felt a nudge, seeing Taehyung in his form of a white tiger cub. Picking up the cub, he put him on the table, nuzzling his nose into the other's fur. "Hey Taetae~ You're up too huh?" The cub growled lowly, causing another round of laughter by Jimin who just rubbed his fur.  Seokjin turned to glance at the members before focusing on his cooking. "Alright boys settle down. Food will be served soon- Taetae.. human form please. And Jimin? please get Jungkook to come down"

Jimin nodded, pecking Taehyung's snout before using his vampire speed to get to his room, squealing quietly in amazement at his abilities. "kookie~ baby! wakey wakeyyyy~ its like afternoon already~" Jimin sang as he plopped onto the younger's sleeping form, tapping all over his face. "Kookie~ its breakfast time~ come on~" He whined when the younger moved only slightly, urging him to start shaking the younger. Until he was flipped onto his back with the younger hovering over him. Jimin pouted as he lightly smacked the younger's back. "show off- up up~ hyungie cooked something nice" He moved to get up but Jungkook firmly caged him in place with lips puckered. Though he let out a groan, Jimin still indulged in giving Jungkook his morning kiss before the two finally moved down to get breakfast with the rest.
