Life isn't like a book. Sorry to tell you. So you're not going to meet some metaphoric teenager at a Support Group meeting. Or run into your favorite band member at their clichéd favorite resturant. So why did I fall head over heels for someone who was just like the books? I don't think I'll ever know. All I know is that I fell in love with someone I thought was real.
Shawn was what I thought was... Unreal. But he seemed real. It was complicated. When I met him he was sweet and I just fell for him imeadietly. He gained my trust and charmed me in ways I'd never seen. Well I was a relationship virgin so I'd only seen these things in movies and books. Which neither of the two are you going to get living in Pickering, Canada.
Things weren't always dreary. Things weren't always a pain in the ass to deal with. Things weren't always this way. But needless to say, at some point, it all changed.
