Every six months, I have to get my Baclofen Pump refilled. I know you are asking me How does that work? Well, it's not that hard. My doctor will get the medicine ready. Then she would put some kind of cream on the area where the pump is, which is on the right side of my stomach.
After that, the doctor will find the hole to put the needle in. Once the hole is found, I get stick with a needle in my stomach. The medicine is in my pump.
And yes, the needle does hurt.
