As I was walking down the road, I saw people looking at me, some in fear and some in anger. I didn't let that affect me as I know what I am, a monster who killed innocent people and ruined the lives of many more, 'I shouldn't be here' I thought to myself as I continued trudging down the street.
As I walk through a crowd of people, I notice they are moving away from me with parents covering the eyes of their children. Possibly to shield their eyes from evil beings such as me. I rented an apartment in Munich for now as I had nowhere to live, once inside I started rethink my decision to what the devil had said. It had been two months since I had my encounter with the devil and it suddenly dawned on me that I risked everything to be a part of the war and also risked everything when I confronted the devil, is this really what I wanted.
