The station was dull and empty. The officer who was responsible to keep an eye on the malefactor was no where to be seen. Natsu sat in the very corner of the cell; his head was placed between his knees and his hands were wrapped around his ankles.

The lights outside the cell flickered eerily. The sound of the footsteps echoed and Natsu slowly looked up. A shadow painted his face black and his eyes slightly widened upon seeing the person in front of him.

"Gray..." Natsu muttered.

He didn't respond.

Natsu desperately crawled towards the bars and tightly wrapped his hands around them. "I'm so gpad you're here! You're here to bail me out, right?" There was a twinkle of hopefulness in his guilty eyes.

"Why did you do it?" Gray asked flatly and Natsu's twinkle faded away.

"Why did you kill so many innocents? What were you thinking? What was your motive?"

Natsu looked at Gray as if he was wrongfully accusing him of something wicked and abhorrent. Then slowly, he turned around and walked back to where he was seated before.

"This is not the end." He said and chuckled nastily.

Gray frowned at his sudden change of behavior and drew closer to the bars. "What do you mean?"

"This is not the end," Natsu repeated and his chuckle turned into a sinister laughter. "Erza Scarlet...You can't save her, Gray. You just can't!" He wouldn't stop laughing.

"What do you mean?"

"You think she's safe? You think you can protect her? Well, you're wrong, Gray. You're so wrong." He laughed hysterically while repeating the same words again and again, "You can't save her! This is not the end!"

Gray tried to probe further by what he meant, however, his efforts were futile. He left Natsu in the prosaic and hurried to the red haired who was still in danger.
