Chapter 9: Patient #2

His name was Charlie and he was 41 years old. According to his file, he had no known family. Before being institutionalized he had no medical history of mental illness. He worked as a handyman for the Sanitarium and according to his file one day he just snapped while at a local grocery store. He was telling other customers that someone was coming for him and he needed help. He got angry when they would not take him seriously. His eyes turned black and he began to shout at them in an unfamiliar language. The police were called but not before he managed to destroy things in the store. As I finish reading the file I can not help but wonder what could make a man's eyes turn black. The two cases were similar. They both went crazy out of nowhere saying someone was coming after them and they both had been working at the Sanitarium for six months. As I finish the thought I begin to feel a little sick so I go to the bathroom. I wash my face at the sink and when I look into the mirror I am shocked because my eyes are turning black. Before I can register the shock of it, I lose consciousness.
