As I lay there trying to sort through my thoughts I hear a noise from down the hall. I try to decipher what is being said but the only words I can make out are, "No don't let him get me." The words send a chill up my spine as I try to figure out who he is talking about. Was he talking about one of the patients or one of the doctors? I could not help but be afraid, his words died off quickly and I began to hear someone coming down the hall toward my room. As the nurse walked in I shuddered in fear wondering what they were going to do to me. I was quickly beginning to figure out that I was not in the hospital but rather in a Sanitarium.
