"Hi, Im Mi-Yah, I come from Seoul in Korea. Im in my last year of schooling before I graduate and move onto better things, I come from a small family, only my brother, mother, father and I, although my mother seems to be growing a bit of a tummy, I think she's pregnant but that's just me." I say into my phones front facing camera, I can see myself in the screen, its strange but I have to take this chance to audition, I mean seriously. I need to make a start on my career.
"I guess my reason for auditioning is... To start a career of my own before I leave school, I've been doing part time live performances at cafes and bars, im just not getting the credit I deserve and I think I need to be recognised. I think you should chose me to represent the studio because I've had years of practice, I have quite a good vocal range if I say so myself, I learn dances quickly and efficiently. Im fine working with other people and would love to make some friends. Take time to consider me, I really hope to hear from you soon." I speak confidently although I'm trying my hardest to not cower away and be scared of the camera as I normally am, my confidence had grown but not too much from the small preformances I've done.

I finish off the video and quickly edit a few mistakes out as I write the email as fast as I can, my fingers pouncing from key to key as I type my thoughts. I sign the email and send it to the company.

"Mi-Yah~." I hear a feminine voice from downstairs call to me, I race down and sit at the table as fast as possible, its dinner time. One of my favourite meals too! "Yes Eomeoni, When is Abeoji Returning from work?" I ask as I tilt my head slightly. She walks over to the table holding a pot on top of a wooden board and places it down on the bench. She frowns, obviously something's wrong. "He won't be home until late tonight, he has to settle something with a client." She sighs, this is the third night he hasn't been home until late, I often wake up to hear them bickering, atleast he gets next week off for his promotion.

We serve ourselves our Glass noodles and vegetables. I grab my pair of chopsticks, I have my own pair that I always use. We begin to eat and have small talk.
When we finish I get up and go to wash my bowl before I hear the phone ring. It has to be hyeong! He hasn't called in a while, hopefully he isn't to upset he can't talk to Abeoji at this moment. I place my bowl on the bench and sprint to the phone picking it up with a big smile as I hear his voice through the phone.

"Hello monkey~" he teases through the phone, some how knowing it was me picking up. He always used to call me that because I used to make a funny face and pull my ears to look like a monkey. Not to mention the onesie I had.

"Oh Hush baegchi! How have you been?" I giggle into the microphone in the phone.

We continue the phone call until Eomeoni came over and asked for the phone, I nodded and handed it to her as I went up to my room, putting on a fancy cloudy dress with gloves as I prepared for my performance, I check my computer quickly and open up Skype, I have a message from one of my friends.

"Can I come watch you sing tonight?" He spammed me, its annoying sometimes but he hasn't seen me in a while, like all holidays, he's up at his farm with his family and he came back to Seoul before school started.
"Ugh fine you annoyance! Its at (restaurant name), ill be there soon." I send in a hurry, grabbing my bag and bottle from the fridge.

"Eomeoni, im off ill be back at 10~ salanghae!" I shout as I run out of the door and unlock the gate and get my taxi, I tell him where as I put my heels on. Quickly applying makeup.
