okay, so this author note is a little piece of my mind like I've been asked quite a lot like why this story particularly is this way? And what's so special about it? well this one is one of those story that we have hidden in our hearts we always read it to ourselves and see it with our minds my story is based on one of the most famous story that the whole world know about it, and of course with my own perspective for it, you might have guessed which one, and maybe you didn't, and I'm pretty sure that whenever I tell you which story it's based on you'll start to feeling the similarity, this story is bases on drum roll please 🥁🥁🥁 {Cinderella}
I know not really close to the original story, well you right I want to give the world this story but from a different perspective with our new generation's mind.
*The evil stepmother* like why always the stepmother must be evil? why isn't the father? I mean he's the reason for her misery, he who married that woman! we all know what an evil person look like, and again why there always must be a stepmother in the first place? so, for me I've always thought of the father as the bad guy, it was his fault from the very start.
Next her "salvation"
*Prince charmin* AKA Damon the player, at that time in that land everything was a pretty, magic, and nice people and gentlemen everywhere, but I want to give it a little flavors of our now days, I mean there are so many boys but not that much of "Charmin" you know so instead of him being the noble man who is nothing but royal and dreamy I want him to be a little pain in the ass and somehow refreshingly evil
*The fairy godmother and the mice friend* well.. we don't have those, so instead of those I give her a real friend, which she never had in the real story, Jack is more to her then just friend, he's the father, the brother, and sometimes he's the mother that she always miss
Finally
*Cinderella* the beautiful, sensitive, the nicest, the kindest... basically flawless, Well that's pretty much exhausting, nobody that perfect! we all have a flaw.
I wanted her to be more like everyone, Liz can be me, you, her, anyone! she have her insecurity moments, her courageousness, her sassiness, feisty and vulnerable, a real human quality.
I've always looked at the story from this prospective, and I just want to share my vision with the world, I hope you guys liked it, and I hope it doesn't change anything, but to clarify things and make it more sense
