Me and Taylor met Jack, Dillon, Lily and Jacks friend who I had met at the party and briefly other times in the past, Sammy. It was unbelievably hot, we don't have any nice beaches in Indiana so we had to drive a while out of town, being the reason Cam, JJ, Matt and Elena couldn't come. I wore a swim suit which dipped down at the back and was navy with a daisy print all over, I wore shorts over it with a thin jacket to cover up a little. Taylor wore a black tank top with his greeny blue swimming trunks. He let me drive his Land Rover today, I felt nervous as his car was his baby, I'm not even sure if he loves me more than his rover. I rested my white sunglasses on top of my head the whole journey being extra careful.
"YES, I did it" I said as we pulled up a road away from the beach
"Did what?" Taylor asked confused
"Drove all the way here without any damage being made to your car" I said making him laugh
"I wondered why you were driving so slow" he said hopping out of the car
"Are they here yet?" I asked Taylor as I picked up his hand to hold
"Let me ring Dillon and see where he's at" this beach wasn't far from Dillon, not as far as it was for us anyway, it was nice to be able to see him as regularly as we do since he moved
"Yo, Dillon, you here yet man?...alright cool, what about the others?...alright man, later" he said hanging up the phone "he's here with Sammy and Jack, he doesn't know Lily 'cause Jack refuses to call her"
"Typical" I said rolling my eyes "LETS HURRY TO THE BEACH" I shouted, picking up the pace we were walking at and begun swinging our hands back and forth
"You just can't wait to see me topless can you" he said in a jokey tone
"It's gonna be the highlight of my day" I say sarcastically "now hurry caniff" I stopped walking as I got slightly pulled back, I turned around to see Taylor standing dead still, our hands still connected.
"Was that sarcasm" he said dramatically
"Oh god" I said rolling my eyes
"I mean, if that was sarcasm then...I might just cry" he continued
"You're not funny" I say trying not to laugh at his stupidity
"Oh so that's why you're smiling" he said continuing to walk
"I'm just thinking about the beach" I lie
"Well...if you wanna get there so quick" Taylor grabbed me and held me bridal style and began to run "LETS GO"
"TAYLOR OH MY GOD YOU'RE GONNA HURT YOURSELF PUT ME DOWN" I shouted laughing hysterically in shock, right before we reached the beach he put me down
"Damn, I worked up a sweat just then" he said catching his breath
"You're such a loser" I say taking off my shoes before we walk onto the sandy beach
"Do you want me to take your back pack?" I offer knowing it's heavy after having my towel, sun cream and water in it aswell as his and money
"Nah, it's fine bub don't worry" he said reconnecting our hands as we walked along the beach
"TAAAAAYLOR....TAYLOR...OVER HERE" Taylor's head shot round to the direction his name was being called from, Dillon was standing waving his hands around calling us. As we walked over I saw Jack laying down sunbathing and Sammy half sat up looking at us as we walked over
"Hey" I said as I hugged Dillon who was still standing
"Finally you made it" Sammy said, for someone I didn't really know very well he had a lot of confidence "Now where's Lily" he continued
"I'll ring her, she's probably lost" I said taking off my thin jacket, I pulled my phone from my shorts back pocket and begun dialling
"Hello??...where are yo-...you're here?? Where??...wait let me look for you...um...ah yeah I can see you wait...look left...that's right I said left!...do you see me?!" I begun waving stupidly "yeah that's me, we're all here...alright...bye" I said hanging up
"She's just walking over" I tell them
"Oh yeah I can see her" Taylor says, now topless
"You need sun cream" I tell him knowing he never uses it
"Ima be fine" he tells me
"At least a little on your face"
"Okay a little on my face"
"Don't want to burn this pretty little thing I tell him as I blob little bits of sun cream on his face
"God it's hot" Lily says as she finally reaches us, taking off her shorts which she wore over her bikini "let's tan and then go into the water" she instructed me
"Okay" I reply "Taylor, put some sun cream on my back please" I ask
"Of course" he says delighted at my request
"Have you seen the video Elena sent us?!" Lily asked
"No it wouldn't load" I tell her as I turn my back to Taylor
"Look it's so cute" she says passing me her phone
When I press play it's a video of Cam with two little girls, one climbing on his back as he tickles the other "Who's the best person here?!?!" He asked as he tickled the little girl "yo-you...Cameron..." She screamed in hysterical laughter as the video came to an end.
"That's the sweetest thing I've ever seen oh my god" I say passing her back her phone
"He'll make such a good dad" she said putting her phone into her bag
"Done" Taylor interrupted, passing me back the sun cream
"Thank you" I say taking back the sun cream and giving him a light kiss on the lips
"Hey Lil" Sammy said sitting back up
"Sammy, when the hell did you get here" she said surprised, her and Sammy became close friends when her and Jack had a thing
"I've been here for ages" he said as Lily laid her towel down next to Sammy
"I'm ready to go in the water now man" Jack said, the first thing I heard him say since we got here
"I'll come" Dillon said and they both ran over to the sea
"Why's he making things awkward for" Lily said rolling his eyes
"He called things off with Kate a couple nights ago...he's been touchy since" Sammy told us
"Do you know Kate?" I asked him
"Yeah she goes to our school" he tells us
"She hot?" Taylor asked and I hit his arm at his inappropriate question
"Eh, not my type" Sammy replied "she wasn't even Jacks type, she's just easy" he continued
"Whatever" Lily said laying down
"So is that Matt kid your boyfriend?" Sammy asked
"Nooo, we're just...friends I guess" she said
"I thought he was gonna be just a rebound at first, not gonna lie to y'all"
"Hmm" Lily responded
"Let's just enjoy the sun" I said taking a spot next to Taylor.
