"He should be with Arthur on the training grounds," Gwen replies. "If you look out the window by the pitcher you should see him."

The Doctor walks over to the window that's by the table with the pitcher. Sure enough, Merlin is down there watching Arthur train with the knights.

"Amy, do you mind if I go down now and you can catch up later?"

"No, go ahead!" Amy replies. They hear him walk out of the room. "I apologize for how slow I am. I've never done this before."

"That's alright, you're doing quite well for never having done this," Gwen praises. "Thank goodness you showed up when you did, there's a round table meeting when Arthur gets done training in half an hour, and I wouldn't have been dressed!"

They both laugh. Amy ties the ribbons together, finally done. Gwen then goes to the table, sits at the head, and starts reviewing some papers. "Would you mind pouring me a goblet?"

Amy goes to the side table with the pitcher, picks it and a goblet up and pours some rich red wine, then sets it in front of Guinevere. "Would you like some breakfast?" Amy asks her, spotting some bread, fruit, and cheese on a platter at the opposite end of the table.

"A little, thank you."

Amy finds a plate and places some food on it and takes it to Gwen.

"Amelia," Gwen starts, looking up from the papers to meet Amy's eyes, "you say you've never done this before but you're a natural. In just these past minutes, you've been a better servant than all the other ones I've had previously. Would you like to be my servant?"

Amy tries to hide her shock, she's never thought of herself as even a good housekeeper, let alone good at taking care of people, that was always Rory. "Umm... not meaning to be rude, but would I have a room in the castle?"

"Yes."

"Enough room for Will to live there too?"

"It can be arranged, yes."

"And will there be proper places to relieve myself instead of trenches?"

"Absolutely!" Gwen laughs. "So you'll take the position?"

"Yes!" Amy grins, the thought of not having to deal with that awful trench again was enough to make her accept. Amy also figures, the closer they are to Merlin, Arthur, and Gwen, the better. It's a good start to them trusting Amy and the Doctor.

"Wonderful!" Gwen gets up and hugs Amy, which she wasn't expecting either. "Now you'd best go join Will, he's expecting you."

"Are you sure? You don't need anything else at the moment?"

"I'm sure. I'm just going over the papers from the last meeting, I'll be fine. Just be sure to be here after training is over." Gwen requests.

"Absolutely! I won't be late!" Amy courtesies and dashes out the doors towards the training grounds.

"Ah, here she comes!" The Doctor says to Merlin. After the Doctor had introduced himself they had been chatting, waiting for Amy.

"Amy, correct?" Merlin confirms, extending his hand to Amy. "Will's sister?"

"Sister. Yeah. Hello," Amy says with a sideways glance at the Doctor.

"I've never seen someone with such red hair!" says Merlin. "Will has just been telling me about you. With beauty like yours I'm surprised you aren't royalty."

Amy laughs at the compliment, "Well I work for royalty, that's close enough isn't it?"

Merlin laughs with Amy, but the Doctor interrupts with, "Since when do you work for royalty? I thought you made perfumes?"
