The Devils Spawn Part 5.

I turn and look for Daniel but he is nowhere to be seen, I hear the noise of a shower running and guess that he is in the shower and obviously left when I was closing the door. I sit down on the sofa and take off my shoes and set them to the side of the sofa. I pull my shirt off and throw it on the end on the sofa and pull a pillow up behind my head and lay back with my hands linked behind my head, I'm staring up at the ceiling thinking about the mission I'm on and how I hate failing my master when I hear the door slowly creak open. I see him walk in wearing light grey sweats that look like they're too big on him, an oversized top and he is towel drying his hair as he walks in so obviously he has been in the shower. That's where he disappeared to. I smile warmly but he has a shocked look on his face. I realize I'm half naked sprawled out on his sofa, I hold back my laugh and watch his face, his mouth opening and closing like he trying to form a sentence but can't get it out making him look like a fish gasping for water. He looks like a deer in headlights the way his eyes are wide and he hasn't blinked since he walked in. I stand up slowly and walk towards him, he hasn't moved from the floor it's almost like he is super glued to that spot. I put my hand under his chin and take his chin between my thumb and index finger and make me look up into my eyes and not down at my chiseled chest which took me forever to achieve.

"See something you like Danny?" I ask using a nickname that I have now suddenly given him.

He finally blinks but doesn't move my hand from underneath his chin. "Umm I just wasn't expecting you to be half naked when I got back" he laughs nervously.

I smirk "I didn't mean to startle you by being half naked all of a sudden, but you can't say you don't enjoy the view" I tease him.

I hear his breathe hitch again and I can hear his heart racing in his chest, "I-I'm not gay..." he stutters lying.

"And I'm Leonardo de Vinci's son" I chuckle. "It's ok if you are but you don't have to tell me if you don't want to" I reassure him.

He nods timidly "do you want to watch a movie with me or something?" he asks almost like I scare him now, his voice is all shaky and nervous.

I nod and look towards him "anything you like we can watch anything you want or do anything want you want" I reply.

He smiles brightly and walks over to his desk and pulls a stack of movies from the drawer and puts them on the bed, he sits next to them and waits for me to sit down next to him and go through them to see which one we will be watching. "These are the only movies I've got".

I sit on the edge of the bed and go through the stack of movies. I've never heard of some of them before and some of them I do now but actually haven't gotten to watch. I bite my lower lip thinking about what movie I should pick. "Maybe I can ask your mum for some snacks while you pick the movie for us you seem to have a very good taste in movies" I ask putting my shirt back on.

He quickly nods "yeah she won't mind you asking" he looks back to the movies as I leave the bedroom and start to walk down the stairs. I start to walk down the stairs and hear his parents talking in the living room but thank god they haven't heard me yet. "John I really think that Daniel likes this boy, you know that Daniel came out as gay two years ago to us and since then he has been bullied I haven't seen him smile since then and now he can't stop smiling since this boy showed up, maybe he really likes this boy" I hear his mum say to his father. I knock timidly on the door and open it slowly peeking my head through the door to see them on the sofa watching TV. "Sorry to disturb you guys but I was just wondering if I could get some snacks for Daniel and me because we are watching a movie" I ask politely.

His mum quickly jumps out of her place in his husband's arms, "of course, follow me" she leads me to the kitchen where she puts some popcorn into the microwave so it cooks. She takes some chocolate bars and two bottle of 7up from the fridge handing them all to me. I put the chocolate into my pockets. She takes a packet of double stuffed Oreos from the press and hands them to me, "they are his favorite, ask nicely and you might get one but he still might not share" she warns me and then pours the hot popcorn into two bowls, I put the 7up under my arms and the Oreos into my pocket and take the two bowls in my hands. I kiss her cheek because I can't hug her with my hands full. "Thank you ma'am" I smile before turning and starting to walk up the stairs, "no problem Tony" she smiles walking back into the living room where her husband is, I get to Daniels bedroom door and call him "hey Daniel open up its me" I hear a little shuffling from inside his room. "C'mon Danny open up", I hear a small click and the door opens, "hey Danny" I smile and hand him one of the bowls of popcorn and walk into the room putting the 7up and chocolate on the bedside locker. I turn to face him and hand him the packet of double stuffed Oreos and his eyes light up like a child of Christmas morning and he smiles widely. "Your mum said they are your favorite" I sit on the bed next to him and start to tuck into my hot popcorn munching away as the movie starts to play. He nods and sits next to me with the bowl on his lap as he watches the screen nervously. Everything falls in a silence but not one of those awkward silences where nobody knows what to say, it's a perfect silence between us as the TV plays. I feel his little body trembling next to mine as everything starts to pop up in the movie and scare him, I put my arm around him and pull him closer to me, he snuggles up into my body still trembling like a little kitten that has been thrown out in front of a bunch of vicious dogs. Maybe I'll start teasing him and calling him kitten from time to time or maybe I'll just stick to calling him Danny for the time being, well till I finally grow a pair and tell him that I'm gay and really want to be with him. I hold him close to me rubbing little circle's on his lower back while he bunches my shirt in his hands tight, he is hiding his face in my shirt making my heart flutter in a funny way that I've never experienced before. We finish the snacks that we got and are sipping at out 7up bottles making our 7up last longer. I hear the crinkling of plastic packaging and see him trying to discreetly open the packet of Oreos without me noticing him. I cough and catch his attention, he looks at me with a very innocent look on his face.

"Yes?" he asks pretending he isn't doing anything.

"Hiding something?" I raise my eyebrows giving him a stern look.

"N-no why?" he stutters trying to play the innocent act with me.

"Danny I know that you have the Oreos I can hear you trying to open the packet without me noticing, it's very obvious you don't want to share with me and your mum even told me that you wouldn't share with me, she said I've to ask nicely but I might not even get one if I do that" I chuckle lightly.

"Sorry...did my mum really say that to you?" he asks slightly embarrassed.

"Yeah she told me that I would have to be super nice to you to get an ore from you but even that wouldn't promise the chance of being given an Oreo but its ok I'm like that with my crispy m&m's, I don't like to share them but if you ask really nice then maybe I'll give you one" I admit.

He laughs a little "maybe I'll share my Oreos with you but only if you share your m&m's with me" he says smiling brightly at me.

I nod "only because you're so nice to me" I look at him wondering if he actually is going to pass me an Oreo or if he is just joking.

"I'll buy a huge packet of m&m's tomorrow as well as more double stuffed Oreos and we can laze in all day and watch all those other movies that you've got" I promise and he passes one single double stuffed Oreo.

After a good few hours of Oreo eating, movie watching, chit chatting, laughing at the most random things and me holding him close to me until he stops trembling or until he isn't on the verge of tears anymore. We are sitting in complete silence when I hear him yawn and he cuddles closer to me. I smile looking at him to see his eyes are closed and his little body is pressed as close to mine as it can be. I finally break the silence but only with a small whisper.

"Tired?" I whisper knowing that he can hear me because he isn't actually asleep.

I feel him nod and I pick him up in my arms pulling back the duvet and laying him down gently making sure I don't hurt him, once he is laying down I pull the duvet up over him tucking him into his bed. "Night Danny" I start to walk over to the sofa but hear his soft voice from behind me.

"No stay with me" he whispers peeking over the duvet at me, "please".

I sigh trying to resist the urge to jump into the bed behind him and hold him in my arms all night. "Danny go to sleep your tired".

"No please keep me company I won't be able to sleep after that scary movie" he whispers giving me puppy dog eyes.

I nod and walk around wearing sweat pants his mother took from her husband's wardrobe, I take off my shirt and climb into the bed next to him. I pull him into my arms and I hear a hardly audible sigh from him as he relaxes in my arms. I feel him turn to face me and feel him nuzzling his head into my neck, I can feel his soft slow breathe fanning my neck making goose bumps cover my body from head to toe. I tilt my head down to his ear, "good night Danny" I whisper softly.

"Night Tony" he whispers, his breathe is slow and steady, his voice sleepy and within seconds I feel his body relax more into mine and I know he is asleep.

My eyes start to slowly close as the tiredness takes over my body and I slowly drift off into a very peaceful sleep with Daniel protectively in my arms.
