Her black smiling mask didn't make any difference but, she still thought, if being normal will make her different... Then she'll be, and gladly. Penelope never wished for anything but, to live in a perfectly normal world, in a perfectly normal house, with family, and friends...
Unfortunately, not all wishes come true.
Penelope, that fragile blonde girl, lived with her mother and grandmother, her father died in plane crash. She's fragile, brave, she had lots of characteristics enough to build her a life she wanted, a life she deserved. Her mother Kristen, was in her middle thirty's, light skin, blonde hair, dark lips influenced by cigarettes yet, her mask covered just about everything she needed. Light skin, pink blusher, red lipstick, mascara and eyeliner... Simply every lie needed to hide the ugly truth. Kristen didn't seem to have a problem with that as long as it kept her beauty exposed. Her grandmother Garcia, had a mask too but, for what? Garcia thought that getting old may be the sparkle of pure magic to get rid of the dark curse... Unfortunately again, it wasn't. Garcia had struggled hard to accomplish that only desire, at least before her turn to pass away comes. Instead of scars, Garcia had a broken mask, just in the middle, half through the way down and yet, she was forced to keep it on!
Garcia is old but, it is believed that the older you get, the wiser and closer to everything you become, and Garcia was the perfect match for that belief. She acknowledged things which were worth than a billion treasures. She knew how to break the curse, how to crossover, she knew how to melt the plastic.
