(Mark's POV)

My wrist healed up in the hospital, so I was able to use crutches at school. Jack was still angry about Konner. And I had a feeling today was gonna be the day that they fight. I just hope it's not...
As I made my way to my next class, I heard Konner laugh from behind me. I still have no idea how he's still in school and not in juvie... I turned my head and saw him coming my way. I tried to get away, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of taunting me.
Unfortunately, he was able to corner me and prevent me from going anywhere. The good thing was, he was alone.

"What the fuck do you want," I growled. "Can't you see you've done enough damage?"
"Well," he smiled. "Looks like you're not so tough as you though you were, huh, Fischbach?"

He suddenly kicked my crutches out from under me, making me fall. I tried my best not to make a sound, but I couldn't hold back. It hurt too damn much.
However, I alerted Jack, who came out of the classroom, angrier than a bull seeing red.

"Get tha' fook away from him, Konner," he shouted.
"Since when do you tell me what to do, McLoughlin," Konner replied, getting in his face.
"I'm not scared of ya anymore, Konner. So, I suggest you back tha' fook off unless ya wanna test me."
"Don't talk back to me!"

He hit Jack, making me gasp. I then saw Jack give him his death glare. Oh no... Konner's gone and did it now. I tried to get away, at least out of their range. But, Jack swung hard, knocking Konner into the lockers.
Students rushed to the doors and watched as Konner and Jack fought. And surprisingly, Jack was holding his own pretty well.
Whenever Konner tried to hit him, he blocked it and returned with a hit himself. Konner looked like shit after about two minutes. Jack barely had any hits on him.
Teachers came out and stopped them, and they figured out that it was Konner who started it. Konner got ISS again for three days and Jack just got a day of after school detention, which he was fine with.
I would have to stay with him, since he has to drive my car. The teachers understood and let me stay. As we just sat in there, Jack held my hands.

"I couldn't have ya bein' messed with anymore," he told me.
"I understand," I smiled. "And thank you. But promise you'll drop the tough guy thing?"
"Yeah... I'm not likin' it meself. It's not me."
"Exactly my point. I liked the sweet, kind, and girly Jack better."
"Hey!"
"I meant girly in a good way."
"Whatever."

I kissed him on his neck, making him smile.

"You bastard," he blushed.
"But you know you liked it..."
"...Damn you..."

He couldn't help but smile and blush. Once we got home, we sat on my bed and watched a movie. Suddenly, I felt Jack kiss me.
I looked at him and kissed him back. He looked back up at me and smiled. As we turned our attention back to the movie, we began talking.

"Ya know," Jack began. "I wanna tell ya somethin', but I dunno if I wanna keep it secret or not."
"Too bad," I smiled. "You've already started."
"Fine... I was thinkin'... I want tuh' become a cheerleader."
"I'd pay to see that."
"What?" he replied, a little offended. "Ya don't think I can do it?"
"No, what I'm saying is, I know you can make a great cheerleader. I would never doubt you, Jack. Ever..."
"Oh... I thought you were tryin' tuh' say I couldn't do it."
"I would never."

He smiled up at me and kissed me again.

"What about you?" he asked. "Ya said ya have somethin' tuh' tell me."
"Oh," I started. "Right... I might be getting a job. Besides YouTube."
"Oh! What is it?"
"If I tell you, you can't tell a soul."
"Okay... I'll keep it a secret."
"I might become a spy."
"Really?!"
"Nope."

I started laughing after he gave me his signature angry look. I was only trying to mess with him.

"You ass," he told me, trying not to smile.
"It's my job," I smirked.

He couldn't not smile at that.

"But you love me," I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder.
"I may," he replied, shoving my head off his shoulder. "But that doesn't mean yer not an ass."

I smiled as he laid back down next to me.

"I love you, Jack," I told him.
"I love ya too, ya big doof," he replied.
