Chapter 6: Johnny
Johnny pulls me to the side,
"What is it?" I ask
"What's going on Amber?" He replies
"What are you talking about?"
"You! And Dal? Are y'all dating? You and him are acting weird, you came with him, and sat by him at the dingo booth?" He says
"Johnny, chill out it's ok" I lie
"Are the two of you together?" He asks sternly, I'm an ok-liar I usually have to convince when it comes to lying for me.
Johnny furrows his eyebrows,
"Well?" He says
"Actually.. I gotta talk to you about that" I say
"Well I'm waiting" he says
"Would you be mad if we were together?" I ask, this answer could make or break my relationship with dal, I don't know what I'd do if Johnny said no, I love Dally and I love Johnny too, but I just don't know.
"I don't know Amber. Do you love him?" He asks
"Yes Johnny I do" I say
"Well I guess it's ok, I trust him, I know he'll take care of you" he says and I jump onto him hugging him,
"Thank you johnny" I squeal
"Alright Alright" He says happily annoyed
I get up and see dal looking at me smiling, I guess he knew I was asking him I nod to him and mouthed 'I love you' and I do the same, Johnny gags and I punch his arm playfully. I look up to see a confused Ponyboy, he's got a real dumb face on him and he's asking everyone what we're all acting so weird about and we brush him off with every interaction, it's just funny.
I've never loved Johnny more than I do right now, he just told me I could be with the other guy I love as much as him.
