i'm sitting in a bathroom stall
tears swelling in my eyes
i'm silently thanking the heavens
that you're on the other line
you seem happy even though
you say you're not
you are truly gifted at hiding the pain
i must say i have forgot
me? i'm a mess
and you can usually tell
on the days where i am not
feeling so well
we talk about college
and how my classes are going
i say i'm taking psych
and my professor is annoying
tik tok
time goes by
i have to hang up
to get to class on time
i say we'll talk soon
but i think that's a lie
we should do this again
and then i say goodbye
