Missing In Action 6

Start from the beginning

The mother crossed her arms.

"Yeah." She said with attitude.

"Mom!" He said with a 'Are you serious' look on his face.

"Will you excuse us real quick." Mark said to me.

"Oh yeah sure." I said walking to the medicine cabinet.

"Perrie." I heard. I turned around the doctor was standing at the doorway with a file in hand.

I walked over to him.

"Yes doctor." I said politely.

"Mark needs physical therapy for his leg, I was hoping you could help him with that." He said handing me his folder.

I nodded. "Sure I'll get that done." I said.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"Yes sir." I said.

"If you need a break just tell me." He said.

"That won't be necessary. Ill be fine." I said.

He nodded. "If you need anything, tell me." He said.

I nodded.

He walked out the door.

I looked at the folder. I walked to marks bed. His family all looked at me.

I ignored there stares.

"Sorry Mark it looks like you have to go through therapy for two months." I said.

"It's okay, anything to get me back to health." He smiled.

I turned to his family.

"I'm so sorry." I said apologetic.

"Oh it's okay. I know these things happen. We'll just go find the nearest hotel room." His mom said nicely. The family walked out of the clinic. I was surprised at how nice she was acting.

"What happened?" I asked Mark.

"I told them the truth." He said looking at me.

"The truth?" I asked.

"About your boyfriend." He said.

"Oh..." I said with a gulp. I felt a huge lump in my throat.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"No it's fine... Uhm... So your therapy will start tomorrow." I said changing the subject.

He nodded. "Ok." He said quietly.

After my day was over, I got to the dorm. No one was there yet. I put my jacket in the small closet.

I looked in the mirror. I cleaned my make up off my face. I then remembered the pills Danielle took. I looked through the drawer.

"Found ya." I said quietly.

I look at the bottle. It said sleeping pills. I walked to the bathroom. I opened the cap and dumped them in the toilet. I flushed the pills down. From what I've learned sleeping pills lead to overdosing. You'll go from sleeping to dead in less then a minute. We don't want another tragedy.

*Few Days later*

'I have to do it. I have to go.' I told myself looking In the mirror. I wore my long black dress. It showed off my belly more then I wanted it to. This is the part I hate the most. The funeral.
