Missing In Action 5

They gave us 5 soldiers to take care of. Each of us took one. The room was filled with the men screaming in pain. 

The soldier I had was screaming.

"What happened?" I asked the soldier who brought him in. His face had sprinkles of blood on it and his uniform was covered in blood.

"Shot in his leg and Neck. I tried to stop the bleeding. it wouldn't stop." He said quickly. 

"Please don't let me die!" The soldier screamed. 

"Don't worry honey, your not gonna die." I said grabbing one the needles on the tray next to me. The man kept screaming. 

I took the needle and injected Anesthesia his arm. 

"Please. I can't see." The man cried. 

"Its okay honey. Don't worry I'm right here with you. Just hold my hand okay." I said taking his hand. He held it with both hands.

"Please don't let me die." He repeated crying. 

"I won't let anything happen to you." I said.

"W-what did you put in me?" He cried.

"It'll make you sleep and everything will feel better okay. Just count to ten with me." I said. 

"Okay." He nodded, calming down. 

"One." I said. 

"One." He repeated. 

"Two." 

"Two." 

"Three." 

"Three." 

"Four." 

"Four." He said. His eyes started to close.

"Five." 

"Five." His grip loosened around my hand.

He fell asleep. 

I looked at the other soldier. 

"Help me take him to surgery." I said.

"Yes ma'am." The soldier said. 

We started to roll the bed out of the room. We got out to the hall. Nurses were running everywhere and the screams filled the air. 

We rushed to the surgery room. 

"Stay out here." I said to the soldier. 

He nodded. 

I took the soldier into surgery. 

After a couple other soldiers I had to take care of it was finally time to head to sleep. I made sure the patients I had were sleeping. 

I walked to the dorm. I was exhausted. The girls were there already. 

"Hey guys." I said tiredly. 

"Hey." They said in unison. They were obviously feeling the same thing. 

"What a long day." I said taking my jacket off. 

"I know. I saw so much blood today." Sky said. 

"I know. It was crazy today." Eleanor said. 

"I'm glad we were prepared." Danielle said. 

"I know imagine if- holy crap!" I gasped holding my belly. 

"What's wrong?!" The girls said in unison. 

"I-I think... The baby just moved." I said looking at them in shock.

"Oh my god! I wanna see!" Sky said quickly walking to me and putting her hands on my belly.
