The embrace was only broken when Malin came to his senses. They would never truly be together. Or at least that was what Malin told himself after ending it all. Malin pushed away as he did all those times ago.

"We-we can't. This-this is....no we can't." Malin could hardly speak the words. It all came out as a wiry, arid, whisper.

"Malin, I love you. I really do. I hate being without you. I don't know if it's just being really, I mean really different from each or if it is the real thing, but I know it hurts when your not around me." Amell said. He was still holding Malin close to him.

"What about me? I love you more than I love myself. But my fate is written for me. I have to be a prince, then a husband, a king, a father. You don't exactly fit in anywhere my loyalty has to lie."

"What about husband?" Amell said.
