types ;
main categories

1). Pastel: The Pastel breach is popular with many people. It uses lots of soft colors, cute imagery, and is the more happy and flowery of the aesthetics. It's subcategories are Pale & Kawaii. Pastel is often seen with a solid color background with text over it, it uses any color from usually pink to blue and even orange, but they are all soft and light. (Personally the easiest aesthetic to follow and get into).

2). Grudge: Uses paler/dull colors and has more human active. A hand holding flowers or shoes against the wall or something to that accord. Hand drawings, hand written notes, wildflowers, glitter, tattoos are very popular. (A personal favorite).

3). Monochrome: Uses patterns, landscapes, and is a pretty open one. Very minimalistic.

4). Landscapes: It's just as it sounds. Very nature based. Filters are usually used to create an emphasis on any shadows, colors, or textures.

5). Space: Again, just as it sounds. It uses low/less colors and less close ups of the interstellar wonders. Mostly has distanced pictures of any stars, constellations, planets and moons. (Its subcategory is Cosmic which has more color to it).

6). Gothic: It uses darker undertones and colors. Usually with references to to victorian culture and obviously goth culture as well. It's a usually seen having references to blood and gore, or strange deformities. It's said to be a more darker type of aesthetic but is different than the Horror type.

7). Architectural: Similar to Landscapes it's images of buildings that are very pleasing to the eye and are very grand looking.

8). Art Hoe: If it's because of its interesting name or what the Art Hoe is becoming very popular. It's like a mix of Grudge and Focal and Landscapes and Architectural. Focusing on art, human activity, and the beauty of world with pale colors and too close to home quotes, writings, and drawings. The common Art Hoe enjoys the works of Van Gogh and the color yellow. (Another personal favorite).

9). Anime: This one feels like the main Pastel and the sub Kawaii were mixed and in a lot of ways that is true. It's based around the Japan culture of Anime, such as Sailor Moon which is a popular one. It can be colorful and kinda cutesy. A fun one if you enjoy Anime but harder to follow it outside of the online world.

10). Vintage: It's just as it sounds. It's old looking. A blast from the past. Polaroid pictures and old cars, faded photographs. The good ol' days. Thrift shops and old cassette tapes. It's sub is Retro which is different and will be gone over next chapter.

So those are all the main categories and next chapter we'll quickly go over some of the more popular subcategories (I only picked 6 so it'll be quick). From there we move to explaining how be aesthetic in each category from music to outfits to your own bedroom.
