Russell quickly comes over and helps me steady myself by allowing me to lean on him.

"That's what I expected," Darius says as he walks closer. I look at him oddly before he speaks again. "You, being my son, are one in a very long line of very powerful Witches who have been rumored to be able to use their Magic without properly using their talismans. You still need it though so you don't drain your energy on one spell every time," he finishes with a small chuckle. Mirana hands me my ring then I slip it back onto my thumb.

"What about when Mirana showed me the snowflake? Wouldn't you need a talisman for that?" I ask Darius confused.

"No, that kind of Magic is super simple and doesn't need a talisman to do it," he replies. I nod then nearly fall over again

"You need to meditate and regain your energy," Mirana says as she looks at me worriedly. Russell lets me go as I begin to lower myself to the ground. I sit down then put my hands together and clear my mind to focus on taking in energy. As I take it in, I begin to feel a lot better, making me sigh out of relief then after about a minute, I have it all back, feeling tired but not as exhausted as before.

"I think I am done training for now," I say with a chuckle after I stand up. Russell is ready to catch me if I fall again but I don't this time. "How about a few hours break before I get back to it?" I ask as I look at Darius and Mirana.

"Sure, meet back here then?" Mirana asks.

"Sounds good," I say as I turn around and begin to walk out of the training grounds.

~Russell's POV~

I sit up against a tree with Dax in between my legs, relaxing into my hold as I wrap my arms around him. Dante and Accalia came and sat with us after Dax's training session.

Accalia then asks Dante to shift into his Wolf form saying something about wanting 'huge Wolf hugs.' So Dante shifts and she lays against him while talking with us.

His wolf, that I haven't gotten a chance to really look at, has black fur all over him with dark red and grey lines that start at his neck then end at the tip of his tail. The red and grey lines swirl around in the shape of a helix.

I guess I now know why his Wolfs name is Helix, I'm blind to not have seen that before.

"Your Wolf looks beautiful," Accalia states as she runs her hand down Dante's back. He barks and swishes his tail happily after receiving the compliment from his mate.

"I didn't know there could be red in a Wolf's fur," said Dax surprised. I snort.

"You are surprised by red fur but not by the fact you and Accalia look like flowers? Not to mention that she has green and blue in her's," I add with a laugh. Dax pouts then chuckles.

"Your right, I shouldn't be surprised. I don't know why it did, I just wasn't really expecting it," he says with a smile.

"So," Accalia starts after a few minuets of comfy silence, "Dante wants to join your pack and I was thinking that I would like to join as his mate?" She asked nervously.

"I don't see why not. What pack did you come from? I can let them know for you?" I offer. Accalia looks down at the ground.

"I'm... not part of a pack either..." she says slowly. I give her a confused look.

"Why aren't your eyes red if you're a rogue?" I ask.

"I was never initiated into a pack when I was little. Instead, my parents took me away from our home and hid me. One day, they said they'd be right back but never came home. Eventually, I found a rogue pack that took me in for a while but a few years after I started running with them, they were all slaughtered in front of me. I was spared because I didn't have the red eyes of a rogue and was allowed to leave. I've been wandering around from place to place ever since," Accalia explains. Dante reaches up with his muzzle and licks her face causing her to giggle. I smile at the two of them being so sweet with each other.

"Sorry for bringing up bad memories," I say apologetically.

"No, its fine. Having finally found Dante helps me move past the sadness of it all, feeling like it was all worth it to find him," she says with a smile as she pokes Dantes' side while he licks her cheek in return.

"That's so cute," Dax says as he swoons at them which causes me to chuckle. I sit and hug Dax to me, my chin resting on his shoulder. A few minuets later Accalia asks Dax a question.

"I was wondering, if you don't mind me asking, why don't you call your parents mom or dad?" Dax looks at her.

"I don't know them. I don't feel comfortable calling them by names so sacred. It took me a long time to finally call my adoptive parents mom and dad. They have to earn my trust. I know it sounds harsh but it's just how I feel," Dax says with a shrug.

"That makes sense," she replies. Deciding to make the situation a little less serious, I pull Dax's face to the side and give him a kiss on the cheek, making him giggle.

"Aww, you guys are so cute!" Accalia teases back. I smile then lean my head back against the tree. After a few minutes, I notice flashes of light coming from in front of Dax. I look and see him creating something in his hands.

"What are you doing?" I ask when I see Dante and Accalia watching too.

"Trying an idea I had," he states simply. I watch him as he forms a flat disk of energy while I rest my chin on his shoulder. Slowly, he begins forming curved blades in each quarter section of the disk that sticks out a few inches.

"I need to get up," Dax says as he attempts to stand.

I let go of him then help him get to his feet. He puts his hands together with the bladed energy disk in between them. Once he separates his hands, he has two disks instead of one. As they float inches from Dax's hands, he begins to spin them. He then moves his hand back coming close to me, then he swings his hand forward, launching the disk at a tree. The disk curves a little making it look like it isn't going to hit but it quickly curves back and sinks a few inches into the tree before dispersing.

"That was so badass!" Accalia says as she claps for Dax. Dante nods his huge Wolf head agreeing with her. I look at Dax with a smile.

"You are just amazing," I whisper into his ear as I hold him from behind. The disk in his left hand dissipates then he turns around in my arms. I place a gentle kiss on his nose which causes him to giggle, then I look into his beautiful eyes.

"Thanks," Dax says softly as he hugs me.
