I hear another cat meowing again. It is the same noise as before but a lot clearer this time.
I rise to my paws and begin to head towards the noise. Instead of the sound getting louder, it appears to sound quieter the further I walk. Puzzled by this, I decide to head in the opposite direction, away from the noise yet this time the meowing gets louder.
Feeling more determined than before, I cautiously walk forward my long coat flowing under my belly fur. There is no wind not breeze. And I cannot see where I am heading. I plod on.
