RUBY'S POV
We continued driving down the road as it began to get dark again. Joel was loving the truck, Felix was loving the atmosphere of being in shot gun and Sara was loving how comfortable the seats were. I on the other hand just wanted to see Andy. I missed him so much and all I wanted was to see him one more time. The phonecall made me realise this, and Sara, and the fact that I was so far away from him. But who knows...he could've met someone else by now, could've forgotten about me and moved on to someone new. Thinkingh about that made my heart crack.
As Joel was loving the truck so much, he wanted to see just how fast it could go "Let's speed her up a bit!" So he slammed his foot on the acceleration and whizzed forward, knocking me back in my seat and waking Sara up.
"Joel slow down!" I yelled, worried about what could possibly happen.
"Oh come on, Ruby! It's fun! Woohoo!" Joel laughed ecstatically. As the excitement in him built up nerve in me, he didn't realise the huge rock in the middle of the road. He drove straight into it, the car toppled over, I hit my head, and we were all left there. Unconcious. With no-one to help us.
