"you don't say" Mitch replied and i bit my lip
"Lilly has her gold Mockingjay pin and i have my hair. I'm going to get you two boys something gold" she declared.
"why's that" Hay wondered
"a token, show them we are a team and i can't just" she sighed so i took her hand
"thank you" i said truthfully Mitch did the same then let go.
"alright now" she exhaled "everything will be different because it's a quarter quell and the capitol has spared no expense. a new training centre, new tribute living quarter and of course a very special arena. this year you will be facing other victors. smart, cunning, skilled and the all know one another. you two are the outsiders"
Now sat at the dining table Mitch was giving us a crash course
"okay now i want you two to forget everything you know about the games last year was child's play. you're dealing with experienced killers." he stated while making a drink
"alright what does that mean for us?"
"it means you two need to make allies. Lilly you need to pull the miss innocent and lets team up act like you've never done before" i smirked
"i love a challenge" he took us too one of the TVs showing the other contenders.
"Cashmire and Gloss brother and sister from district one. they won back to back games. Capitol favourites. lots of sponsors and they will be lethal." he clicked the screen
"the other half of the career pack Brutus and Enobaria"
"what's with the teeth" i asked
"she had the flied to make them look like fangs so she could rip people's throats out."
"she's committed I'll giver her that" the screen changed again
"Wiress and Beetee not fighters but brilliant and weird. tech savvy he won his games by electrocuting six tributes all at once"
"i like his style" i stated then another change
"the morph lings basically hid till everyone else was dead. self medicating since which i applaud but none the less harmless." changed again
"Finnick Odair right?"
"yes won his games at 14 youngest ever. extremely humble the Capitols male Darling charming, good in combat especially in water."
"any weaknesses" Peeta questioned
"one Mags she volunteered to replace Annie. she was his mentor and practically raised him" i nodded
"if she is killed i hope its quick she seems really nice" i stated
