Kennedy
I somehow survive the first couple of weeks. Of, waking up early, working my butt off, running to classes because I'm working overtime, and trying to figure out why Aaron's been randomly watching me.

I know it's just been coincidences but, he almost looks apologetic. I don't know if I'm ready for him to apologise. I do want everything between him and I to be okay but, I have plenty of freedom at the moment.

Two loud knocks on the fragile wooden door echoes through the room. I wake up instantly, being reminded it's Monday. Although, this week has been cancelled due to some "power difficulties."

There's another pair of knocks, making me get out of bed. I quickly look in the mirror, I wipe the drool off my face. I walk towards the door, opening it. The hallway light shines through, it is roughly three in the morning and... Quin?

"Kennedy?" Quin says, covering his eyes from the bright light bulb.

"What's up?" I ask, in a croaky voice.

"Sorry to wake you, I couldn't sleep," he rubs his eyes. I yawn.

"Come in," I gesture. I close the door after his body passes through the door frame. I lock it. I glance over at Paris, who's fast asleep.

I lay back down, patting the mattress besides me. He looks at me, hesitantly. I nod, looking down next to me.

He lays down, resting his head on the edge of the small pillow.

"Can I?" he asks, about to wrap his arms around me.

I answer him by clinging to him. He cuddles back, resting his head on top of mine. I easily fall asleep.

"What was that about?" Paris asks, fixing the stud in her freshly pierced ears. She has had her firsts done for a few years now, but we both pierced our ears a few days ago.

I got my cartilage pierced, which hurt pretty bad. The pain is worth it, though.

"He couldn't sleep," I simply answer, sitting up in my bed.

"So you slept with him?" she sarcastically asks, fixing up her tucked in Nirvana shirt.

"We went to sleep, trust me," I tell her, lifting my phone off the bedside table.

"Okay, okay," she gives in, "but I hopefully am sleeping with someone soon."

"Wait, you're going on a date?" I question, observing her outfit.

Paris and Taylor decided to break up. It wasn't a messy breakup. Sure, it's sad but it's for the best. They kind of just were being realistic and talked over it. It was a mutual understanding.

"Yep. With that hot guy in our ds&a class, his name's Evan," she informs me.

"Well, have fun," I smile, watching her walk towards the door.

"Not that much fun," we both say in sync, laughing.

"Nah, love you!" I wave her out.

"Love you too!" she closes the door behind her. I rub my eyes, trying to stay awake.

Today is a public holiday, not quiet too sure which one. But some girls are also working on a Valentine's Day disco kind of thing.

My phone dings, signalling a text. I lift it up so I can read it. My heart instantly starts beating rapidly, at the name showing on the screen; Aaron.
