Chapter 2

The class finally ended and I quickly packed my stuff. I made my way to my locker and was beat by Daniel.

"Hey" I said cheerily.

"Hello beautiful" he responded, making me blush.

I never considered myself beautiful, not even pretty sometimes. I had long brown curly and wavy hair, with brown eyes. That was how you could tell me and Daryl were brother and sister. I was curvy, not like a stick which some girls looked like. I stood on my tippy-toes to miss him.

"Thank you" I said still blushing.

"You're welcome. Remind me to do that more" He said smirking.

"Come on lover boy" I said laughing.

He walked me to my next class, we kissed and said we'd see each other at lunch.

I sat in my seat which was in the back. Halfway through class I felt some poking me. I ignored it at first, but whoever it was kept on poking me,

"What" I finally snapped, totally pissed now.

"Why do you go out with him?" I turned to see who asked the question, and guess who it was. The biggest jerk and man-whore around!

"What do you mean, and why do you care?" I retorted.

"I mean he's been playing you from the start, and because you're my best friend's little sister" Shane said.  

"You know lying is not a good quality. So why don't you mind your own business asshole." I told him.

I turned back around and paid attention to the boring teacher. Ugh! I can't believe he would say that! He's such a worthless, son of a bitch! I really want to punch him dead in the nose and kick him in the goods. I can feel my nails digging into my palms and I realize I gotta calm down.

Ok Sunny! That's enough let it go! It's not worth your time or energy. Just calm the fuck down! Ok, Ok I'm calmer.

Oh! By the way my name is Sunshine. Yeah, I know it's a weird name. My mom called me her sunshine, so that's what she named me. Everybody calls me Sunny. I only let my father and brother call me Sunshine. When my mom passed away, it hurt to much to hear my name. I loved my mom a lot. When she died I was really sad, almost to the point of depression. My brother helped me through it, though he knew what I was feeling.

Damn it! The class was already over. I really have to stop zoning out. I quickly packed up and went to the cafeteria. I found my brother and sat down.

"Well you get me some food, I gotta go to my locker?" I asked my brother.

"Yeah" He answered.

"Thanks" I replied.

I got up and grabbed my stuff. I started walking to my locker and heard moaning. I kept walking trying to find where the sound was coming from. I finally found it, I stopped in front of a janitor's closet. The door was shut, and I could tell the light was off. I started to turn the knob, I could tell whoever or whatever was in there didn't hear the knob turning. I twisted the knob and pulled the door opened. I couldn't not fucking believe what I saw.

Shane's POV

I was talking to Daryl about football. I started to notice lunch was almost over and I had only seen Sunny at the beginning. I wonder where she could be, then I haven't seen Daniel either.

"Well do you know when.." I started say but paused when I saw running over to us. She look like a bull ready to charge.

"I'm going to kill you!" She screamed at me.

"Whoa! What did I do Sunny?" I asked.

I was confused. What had I done to her? My thoughts were cut off when my face started to hurt. Ouch!

"That was for opening your big fat mouth you fucking jerk!" she yelled, clearly angry about something I said. I looked up to see her drawing her fist back again. I grabbed her arm, before she could throw another punch.

"What did I do?" I asked again, still confused. She jerked her arm out of my grip and ran toward the exit doors.

I looked back at Daryl, he just shook his head, and shrugged his shoulders. What did I do to her?!

"I think I'm gonna go see what happened" I said.

"Remember to duck you know how she gets when she's angry. That was just a little bit." Daryl said.

Oh I knew all to well how she got when she was angry. She didn't wait for explanations, she just started swinging.

I walked out looking for her. I looked around the campus, until I spotted a little figure by the bleachers. I ran over and found her sitting on the ground crying.

"Sunny?" I asked.

"What? Come to rub it in, that you were right?" She asked bitterly

"What are you talking about?" I asked, still confused

"You told me Daniel was playing me! Well guess what, you were right!" She yelled, throwing her hands in the air and laughing darkly.

"I should have known, most football players are players" She said

"I only told, because I didn't wanna see you get hurt" I told her. I mean I can be cruel, but I didn't wanna see my best friend's little sister get hurt.

"Little too late now" She said

"By the way Daniel isn't playing the next game and the queen of the bimbos isn't cheering either" She said laughing evilly. I shuddered thinking of how they must look.

She got up and brushed any grass or dirt off of her.

"You ok now?" I asked.

"Somewhat, tell Daryl I'm walking home and that I just need to be alone." She said.

"Sure" I told her.

She turned toward the street and started walking to her house. I turned around and started walking toward the school. I was about to open the door, when someone pull me and threw me against the wall and started kissing me. I remember these lips. These were the lips that broke my heart. They were Crystal's lips. I pushed her away and looked at her.

"Hey babe" she said with a smile. That smiled used to make my heart flip, now it makes me cold.

"Go away you fucking slut!" I yelled, and pushed the door opened and walked back to my table.

"Where's Sunny?" Daryl asked , when I sat down.

"She went home. She said she wanted to alone. I found out what happened." I told him.

"Why?" he asked.

"I told her Daniel was playing her. She found out for herself, and she got mad at for telling her." I said.

"Oh, she also said Daniel wasn't playing next game, and the queen of bimbos wasn't cheering either." I told him.

I saw Daryl's face get all angry. I knew he was he was pissed Daniel cheated on her. He was the one who had set the up.

"I would go kick his ass, but I know she's done enough for now." Daryl said chuckling.

"I'm going to text her to make sure she got home" Daryl said.

I just nodded. I was thinking about Crystal. I can't believe she kissed me, thinking everything would be ok! She was and still is a slut! I still don't know what made me want to date her. I've had a lot of girls, but they weren't dating anyone! Me and Crystal were dating and she was still fucking other guys. I found out and confronted her about it. She lied about it and I broke up her later that day. I've hated her since.
