Chapter 7

The next few days Christie would stay late over at Clark's house and do homework and watch movies till about nine when she would then go home.

'Hey Clark how did you do number three?' Christie asked looking confused at her paper. Clark smiled at her loving how she looked when she was confused. He loved it when she was over. He got distracted on how beautiful she looked and how much he loved having her here 

'Clark? hello?' Clark looked at her. 

'you okay there?' he started laughing 

'ya I am more then okay. I was just thinking about how much I love having you here and how beautiful you look' Christie looked at him and blushed, she softly put her hand on his cheek as she whispered 

'I am so lucky to have you in my life. I don't know what I would do without you.' Clark took her hand off his cheek and kissed it. 

'Christie you have no idea how much I care for you. You have only been in my life for a short time, but I already can't imagine a life without you. You are changing me for the better and you don't even know it.' Christie smiled at him and leaned over to kiss his cheek.

Clark loved the way she made him feel. He had dated a few people before her, but has never been this happy with the other girls. 

'So Clark.. number three?' Christie laughed. Clark smiled at her and explained to her how to do the problem.

After they finished helping each other on their homework, they decided to go watch a movie. They held hands as they walked into the family room and sat on the couch. Lucas came in and sat next to them. 

'Hey guys let's watch a scary movie' Lucas said as he walked to the tv. 

'No!' Clark and Christie yelled at the same time. They both hated scary movies and never watched them. 

'Fine then you two pick a movie' Lucas said giving up while he sat back down on the couch. The couple decided to turn on the Italian job. Well during the entire movie the couple would be whispering and laughing. 

Clark moved his arm to around Christies shoulder as she leaned in closer. She then took her hand and grasped his free hand and played with his fingers. Lucas kept looking over and rolling his eyes at them.

After the movie, Christie had to leave because she had school at 6:30 the next morning. Clark held her hand as he walked her to her car. Christie put her stuff in the backseat and turned to Clark. She wrapped her arms around his torso and leaned her head on his chest. He then wrapped his arms around her securely, never wanting to let her go. They stay like that for a few minutes until she had to leave. Clark placed his hands on the sides of Christies cheeks and kissed her softly 

'drive home safe okay?' he said in between kissing her. 

'Okay' she whispered. And after one more kiss, she left.

The next morning...

Christie walked into class at 6:30 in the morning. She went and laid on one of the medical beds they had in there. 

'Hey Christie! wake up!' she jumped when she heard her teachers loud voice in her ear. 

'So to keep you awake, you should go run this errand for me.' Well Christie isn't always a morning person 'bite me' was her response. 

'Take Mia with you' her teacher said to her. Mia stood up and walked with Christie toward the doors. Well when they opened the main doors they could hear people talking. But Christie recognized one of the voices... it was Clarks.

'Heather, why are you trying so hard to ruin my relationship with Christie? she means everything to me and I am sick of you always trying to ruin it! I will never do anything to jeopardize my relationship with Christie. Why don't you get that!' Clark yelled. 

'Come on Clark don't be like that' and right when Christie looked heather kissed Clark. Clark instantly shoved heather away 

'what the hell heather! I just fucking told you to leave me alone!'

The door shut behind Christie and Clark looked and saw his girl just standing there. 

'Christie?' Clark started before Christie put her hand up 

'it's okay Clark, I heard the whole conversation' she said as she walked toward heather. 

' I was coming to see you when heather started talking to me' Clark said as Christie got closer. Christie looked at him with caring eyes 

'Clark I know, I believe you. But you' Christie said looking at heather 'just officially pissed me off. I am not a person you want to piss off.' 

She said stepping closer to Heather. Heather didn't know what to do. Christie grabbed heathers shoulders really tight when she heard,

'Christie stop. I am not trying to protect her, she deserves everything you want to do to her. But I am protecting you. She is not worth it' Clark pleaded with her. Christie turned to Clark and her eyes softened 

'you are right' she whispered. She then turned back to heather, 

'you are so lucky right now. One of these days you won't be so lucky.' Christie threatened before she let go and watched heather run away.

Before Christie could turn around Clark wrapped his arms around her from behind. She slowly turned in his arms to face him. 

'Christie I would never do anything to ruin this relationship' he whispered. 

'I know Clark I know' she placed her hands on his cheeks and they leaned their foreheads together and just listened to each other breathe. 

'Can I prove it to you?' Clark whispered. Christie smiled and nodded her head. 

'I will pick you up around 7 okay?' Christie looked up and kissed him softly on the lips. This was the first time they had ever kissed in public and they just didn't care anymore and they loved it.
