“Niall!” One of the frat boys named Adam shouted towards me. He made his way over to me. I could tell that he was already getting drunk from the way he was walking. What a lightweight. “Are you playing tonight?”

I nodded. Usually, whenever our frat house threw a party, we would hold bets. It was from either figuring out who would puke their brains out or see how many easy game came our way. My favorite was the easy game because I always found a way to win. “When can I refuse a game like this?”

“You got nothing on you?” Adam asked softly. I knew what he was referring to.

“I don't do that shit anymore,” I reminded Adam. He's an idiot. It always pissed me off that he would ask if I have anything that could get him high. He is one of the many that know I don't do drugs anymore.

“Damn, that's too bad,” Adam sighed. “How many girls have you had tonight?”

I smirked at my most recent girl who was at the opposite of the room. She noticed me staring and rolled her eyes, making me laugh. It wasn't my fault she opened her damn legs. She invited and I accepted. “I'm at five.”

“Liar! Come on, tell me the truth!”

“Five,” I laughed and so did he. “I'm trying to find lucky lady number six. How many did you have?”

“Three,” Adam answered.

“Are you slacking tonight, Adam?” I joked. “You're usually in the game!”

“Not a lot of pretty girls,” he shrugged. He looked across the room, “Found one right now. See that lovely redhead.”

“Have fun!” I laughed.

My eyes scanned the room and then stopped when I saw one girl. She was wearing a sexy black dress and had hair as dark as raven feathers. She didn't have fabulous assets, but she definitely looked hot. From just looking at her from behind, I could see that she had a nice sculpted back lining and a nice firm looking ass.

She was talking to Liam and they seemed pretty close. I knew that Liam was playing the game too, but he didn't pull a move on her. It either meant she had a boyfriend, she rejected him, or Liam was just depressed about his recent breakup with his girlfriend.

I watched her raven hair walked through the crowd of dancers. She must have knew I was watching her because she tilted her head towards my direction before she walked towards the patio door. I passed through the crowd and went outside too.

Once I was outside, she was nowhere to be found until she actually appeared. She was short, curvy, and had really natural pretty dark pink lips that I would love to kiss. Her eyes were brown, but had this warm mysterious glow about them, as if it were a black hole of nothing but secrets.

The others came outside, probably talking about how she was going to be the next girl I'd hook up with. I knew they were all watching us. I felt their eyes on us. When she moved close to me, I thought we were going to kiss and I would be able to get her into bed with me easily, but instead, she shoved me in the pool and walked away.

I swam back up to hear all of my frat brothers and their girls laughing at me. “That bitch,” I growled.

Liam laughed, “Nice try with that one, mate!”

“You know her?” I asked him.

He nodded, “She's a tough one. You won't get near her if your life depended on it!”

Louis laughed the loudest, “Make it known that today is the day Niall Horan got rejected!”

I splashed at him and started to look for her. I was definitely turned on by her rejection, but I was pissed off that this girl had the nerve to push me in the water. My damn phone was in my pocket. She waved at me by the gate and walked out so I followed her.
